It is true, that some families are against marrying foreigners especially if they are young and still in school. As they work in their later years on their own, if folks decide to marry a foreigner, a traditional family might resist a bit but won't really do much at that point.

So...this is how you do it... 1. Make it clear that you are punctual. If she's somewhat intelligent and really interested she'll show up on time. Do you think they are late for their doctor's appointment? No, they are not. F "Philippine time". 2. Abundance mindset. Don't care so much if she comes or not. If she does, it's a bonus. Go to the restaurant because YOU would have gone there anyway. You might give her 5 min, 10 min TOPS. Then you order your food. If she comes after 20-30 min, you just say, sorry, you're too late...
