I see a beautiful and wander(ful) couple enjoying their retirement with purpose. This is quickly becoming a dream life for me and my better half. She is very sick and i want to give her the best this world has to offer. I love what you are doing with your life.

If you to Texas State parks Web site and select Palmetto State Park you can download detailed trail maps on to your phone or tablet. One in pdf and one that works with Google Earth.

Love this video , I have been hiking, tent camping there, one of my favorite parks in Texas , visit it 1 or 2 times a month as often as I can get there. I know at one time the cabin rented for $65 a night plus your entrance fee to the park. This park is so enjoyable the wildlife , the palmettos, the nature , the artesian well and it's history, the San Marcos River and kudos to all the rangers that work there at Palmetto State Park, they're just wonderful people!! Thank you so much for sharing one of my favorite little parks in Texas! Safe travels and enjoyable Journeys!! Sincerely, Shay's Ways..

Great video. By the way, not sure about two years ago, but you can download pdf Trail maps and facility maps of the parks. I don't plan on the offices every having paper maps.

Cost?
@rvamericayall6 жыл бұрын
Hi Deleen. We don’t cover the cost in our videos because prices change from time to time. Here’s a link to Palmetto State Park info on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website: tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/palmetto

We paid 60 bucks for two nights in an electric site, just a car and tent though, we don't have an RV.

Could you not pull up the map on the parks app.
@rvamericayall7 жыл бұрын
+dale kroll We could have pulled it up from the park website. We were already using the phone for geocaching, photos for social media & tracking apps to measure distance, so we didn't think about the website option at the time. You're right. That would have been the thing to do though.

You mentioned dog poop on trails. Its a problem and its rude so please dont leave dog poop on the trail. I wouldn't poop on the trail so please don't leave dog poop on the trail ok thank you. Besides all that hope you have a great time lol.
