Wow! Thank you! Honestly I didn't expect such a positive reception from D2 Fans. I love how you went throughout the whole demo, even the settings which believe me or not was the hardest part to make. I've been 10 years in industry but when it comes to Unreal and blueprints I'm newbie. It's awesome you noticed the inspirations from cinematics. It's such a good cinematic, always gives me chills. There are things in this project that I'm not happy with, and fans noticed it. It's lighting and portal. Portal is massive but I would make it even more massive and heavy, more like a concrete structure than a construction out of bodies, and lighting is too bright. It's silly but I wanted Lumen to be a part of this project for some reason, I think just to showoff tech. So I increased the indirect intensity like 4 times, so there's a lot of indirect lighting, too much of it. Again thank you for sharing my work. I really appreciate it!

Maybe I was not clear enough. I'm trying to do a comparison of what one talented developer can do versus a company with thousands of employees. It's not fair on the art team at blizzard what I've said. The criticism is to the money hungry people that opresses creativity at large. I look at the Art direction and work in Diablo 4 and I am blown away by it, but do I think that it's as good as it could be considering the amount of resources it should theoretically have involved in it? No.

D4 graphics is only "good" when comparing to graphics from Disney edition diablo3. This here litterally blow diablo 4 away, the graphics is so much more mature while d4 is still a bit cartoonish. I honestly think d4 gfx sux, the biggest scam in gaming history. Spent millions to make, hundred of devs work on to turned a good game into a bad game 😂. No excuse

this fragment looks really great, you can see a lot of time and work put into every detail! but don't be fooled, this is not a demo, only one location, it will never become a playable version of Diablo 2 because editing all the textures would take many months and there is no copyright and consent from the creators which will prevent the release of this graphic overlay even if it's completed

Yes, you are right. But I believe the creator shows a strong grasp on level design and the ability to create very high quality assets. He could use this knowledge to develop a beautiful dungeon crawler.

D2R in its own right is a massive upgrade over D2.

Imagine what AI is going to do for remaking games, you will tell an Ai to remake a game in unreal 5, or maybe 6 by then, then it will come back with 4 completed version of it.. In ten seconds. 😂

As a child, I was haunted and nauseated by going to the Durance of Hate, so much blood and corpses. However, when I became a doctor and came into contact with blood regularly, I was no longer afraid
