Very intriguing imagery! My impression is that it might be quite useful for deep reflection: inner child or shadow work. I agree with you, a serious guidebook would be so helpful!

There is in fact a cheaper version: a French mass market version. It is not a knockoff, but a real valid version, but of course titles and the poems are all in French. I'm still on the fence - I love the images, but my French is very rusty, and the English version is more expensive than I am willing to spend on a deck, with shipping and customs/ tax/ handling fee... I could make a cheat sheet with the English titles though 🤔.
