👋 In todays review we take a look at the 2025 Mini Cooper John Cooper Works Hardtop 2 Door! This is the most power and performance oriented Mini Cooper! The 2025 Mini Cooper JCW no longer offers a manual transmission, but it does have more torque and a dual clutch to provide you with an enjoyable driving experience! The 2025 Mini Cooper JCW Hardtop is lightweight, nimble and has a lot of updates and refinements for the new year! The exterior for the 2025 Mini Cooper JCW has a great look with the two tone color, it features some upgraded brakes, a spoiler and a unique single exit exhaust. The interior for the 2025 Mini Cooper John Cooper Works has a larger center screen, and a lot of technology to go through. This Mini Cooper now has automatic front seats, memory seats and larger paddle shifters too! Now since this wasn't a full test drive, from my previous experience with the Mini Cooper Hardtops, this is going to be a great daily driver, it's comfortable and easy to drive. It's on the small side, but if you don't need a large vehicle, this is a great option to go with. I believe the 2025 Mini Cooper JCW will also have a 4 door version as well if you need a bit more space! With my experience with the Mazda Miata, Toyota GR86/BRZ, this should have a similar feel with the curb weight and handling! So if you want a fun car, that's not too powerful, it's a great option to consider!

Over 40k for a "performance car" with slightly over 200hp. Don't get me wrong, it's sick looking, and I'm sure it drives well, but a GTI which is way quicker costs 6k less. This thing is approaching new Golf R territory. Very good overview though

F66 has same unburstable B48 4 cyl engine as the F56. BMW make reliable performance engines. VAG - no comment.

On a car this weight 200hp is a lot honestly but i do agree it is not worth that price mark. Cooper S is 6k cheaper and with a tune it gets about the same performance of a JCW. You pretty much pay for the right to say you own a real jcw lol.

I don't think they use that kind of glass, but heavy rain will be loud on most vehicles to be honest.

Yeah this seems to be more about the quirks and funky style, while still offering good performance. The VW might offer more performance for the dollar. But the Mini brand offers something unique for the right buyer

The f56 last gen just looks so much better than this. Interior and exterior. Not to mention the extra weight this brings, plus the more complex infotainment system.. Why does everything need to be in the touch screen??

This has a lot more torque though to make up for the slight increase in weight. I think it's a much better platform, but just depends on what you like.

Huge downgrade over the F56, what was BMW thinking!? I'll 100% be taking my money to Mazda to pick up a Miata when I sell mine, you will never catch me in whatever this is. Not to mention on the performance side this thing doesn't weigh to far off a bigger sedan like the Hyundai Sonata. How did they manage to up the weight by 300 pounds while removing all the interior quality's?

This might be an instance where the b48 is probable more reliable than the vw ea888. Someone more knowledgeable about the platforms can chime in.

front and rear look change - ok. Interior change is a huge downgrade. It was gorgeous in F56, even with led gauge and manual seat adjustment. But hey, they took off 4 piston brakes, made a car almost 200kg heavier, more expensive with absolutely empty and cloth interior which is like a dustholder and less durable? what? why? Sort of regressing marketing i think. Want to make it better - give it a stick shift and improve reliability ( less plastic engine parts, better seals, better cooling ). Want to make it cheaper in production and more expensive for a customer - do.. oh, wait, you already did it.
