Large Format Master I was thinking of that. They should change all of the Cinemark XD auditoriums (and Hoyts XD auditoriums in Argentina) in the Americas, change the technology, the sound, everything and turn them to THX Ultimate Cinema at Cinemark (or "THX Ultimate Cinema én Cinemark" in Spanish and "THX Ultimate Cinema no Cinemark" in Portuguese), and make them look just like the THX Ultimate Cinema room at Regency Westwood Theatre, in L.A.

That would be nice. I mean, I worked in a Cinemark in Florence, KY as an usher who sweeps the floors of the theaters after the credits are over. But if I do go back if they rehire me (I haven't worked there in a long time because of the pandemic, you know), I would like to see the manager of my place replace the XDs (or one of them) with a THX Ultimate Cinema so we could see the new Genesis Deep Note Trailer. Or even the Moo Can trailer with Tex.

I haven't went to a Cinemark since then since the service I got last time I was there wasn't very good.

@@chavito808 Same. Some AMC theaters also have a few THX-Certified auditoriums. If you like AMC, I hope "Prime at AMC" is THX-Certified just like Cinemark XD.

Cinemark owns San Francisco Bay Area based Century Theatres which had THX certified cinemas in every one of their locations. It makes sense for Cinemark to do so.

This played at my Cinemark in Lancaster OH during Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom back when it came out - I saw it in XD, mind you, and was sitting right next to the speaker. Now, normally, my Cinemark has a good balance of sound for the XD cinemas - not too loud, not too quiet(I went to another Cinemark at Polaris Fashion Place(that was formerly a RAVE Motion Pictures) to see The LEGO Batman Movie in XD and it was WAY too quiet - sounded like a normal cinema), but this new promo is WAY TOO LOUD. It was so loud, it hurt my ears with the music playing when Cindy is dancing. Maybe it was just a sound issue with my Cinemark, but they need to stop playing this promo so loud! The sound that played during the movie had a perfect balance though, so that's nice. (Also, I have minor "THX-phobia", the fear of the THX sound - I watched a lot of THX certified movies on VHS when I was younger too)

Same with me, around 0:47 I can hear the THX bass note and I say to myself "Well sh*t I know what's happening next" and the music was so freaking loud. (Even worse I was at a standard theater watching Incredibles 2, and yet this commerical was louder than the movie and trailers themselves!)

Every one has a different preference in sound. But i only saw this promo once and REALLY enjoyed it. I love when they crank up the sound. When this played I felt pretty satisfied with how well their system held up to the volume. And I always have to ask them to raise the volume. They nearly always have it too low and it sucks. I didn't pay for a bunch of pussys to keep the volume low.
