A bit long procedure. I used to do without taking food from the start of chaturthi which comes after Poornima. Only after Pooja I took food. Naivedyam sweet modhak, madhubarkyam and appam other than coconut etc. Do pooja to Ganesh (with turmeric powder make pyramid like Ganesh) as given (3pages only) in Viradha Pooja Vidhaanam book. Then do Ganesh Pooja as given in the same book. I bought 'arugampul' without fail and did dhoorvaayugmam Pooja also. After Pooja see moon in the evening and have food. Everything explained in the book I mentioned. Have the blessings of Ganesh!

Vijayalakshmi K R ji I was thinking of my brother's marriage which is delaying and my parents are aged and my son everyday keep asking me when is my poonal and he says I want to sit with appa and do sathyavandanam. Literally tears use to roll down. And my husband job. I have put all my problems in periyava feet. I know he is there and he is literally behind me and each incident shows that he is there. Even miracles happened in our life. He tightly holds my hand I can feel. I thank him each and everyday for giving this janma .

Sorry touched wrongly. TV came. As I said, things happen in life without you knowing how. I will tell u two incidents in my life. I was doing Anusha puja every month. Once I did not have the ashtothram of periava with me and did Adi Sankara ashtothram to Mahaperiava paadhukai. Then I was thinking whether Adi Sankara would recognize this. The same evening I got Adi Sankara's small silver paadhukai from my friend Banu. She said she felt like giving that to on that day. Another time also the same situation arose and I asked Adi Sankara how would he accept anusha puja this time. Evening another friend came and gave (wooden) Adi Sankara image. It touched my heart. So if u sincerely wish and do something fruitful result will come. All the best.

Nirmala Sankar Sorry I went to attend my sister's son marriage hence the delay in reply. Sankatahara Chathurthi puja is to be done on the fourth day after pournami. I used to go without food till I did it. I took only fruits and milk till then. I made kozhukkattai( modhak), appam and honey+milk+curd+ghee+sugar mixture for offering(nyvedyam). First I will do manjal pillaiyaar pujai (if you buy viradha puja vidhaanam book, it is explained clearly). Then I will do kalasa+ shank puja, Abhishekam to the idol chanting Ganesh Gayatri japa, then Anga, pathra, Pushpa, doorvaayugma(arukampul) puja and Ganesh ashtothra naamaavali for Ganesh idol. Finally dhoopa, deepa, nyvedya and karpoora aaraadhana.After that you have to see moon and take food. A bit long procedure.

As I said buy Viradha puja vidhaanam book. Everything is explained there in detail. You might have noticed in my message that I do abhishekam chanting Ganesh Gayatri. For abhishekam even water is enough. You can also do it with milk, curd, ghee, honey, panchaamirdham, fruit juice, sugarcane juice, lime juice, vibhuthi, coconut water, panneer+. Chandhanam(sandal).

Illegal ஆனாலும் legal, acc to Mahaperiyava. Legal ஆனாலும் illegal acc to govt. Commented about the miracle of mami getting water sufficiently for the family function as she prayed to pillayar. She herself said that it was an illegal connection that her neighbour did but her need was done. So that joke. What ever seems illegal to us might seem legal to the divine due to the prayers and need of the soul.🤣🤣🤣🤣
