I have a strong feeling that if Periyava had taken birth in North India the people there would have cherished Him much more than the people in TN. Having been born and brought up in the North I say this with confidence. They respect saints there. In TN, esp in Trichy, we find so much resistance to Sanathana Dharma and to Brahmins. It's appalling and very painful to say the least. Looking at the dislikes for the video made me say this.

@@sujathaviswanathan1324 The tiger skin was in use during the early 70's and those were procured thru official channels after a tiger is dead in a forest ( hope you will not raise a question now on how can tigers die? ) now none of the saint use them. great questions you are asking I am willing to share my thoughts but, I want to see you asking some questions for which they have sacrificed 100 yrs and stayed as sanyasi and lived as an example. Hopefully you will respect my time and take this initiatives to improve our vedic community. You should stop doubting mahaperiayava. As bhramins it's our responsibility to focus on vedas and mahaperiayava came as an avatar for that purpose
