You guys are my favorite travel channel these days. Love how it's always about the destination and the information! You guys remind me of the earlier stuff, well thought out and most importantly fun! If you want to try one of the parties, I'd suggest the eden party. It's a more secluded party only accessible by boat or hike, so it's less of the raging party crowd and more chilled out. Im personally afraid to go to the full moon party, too many people lol

Koh Phangan is great - although accomodation has become silly pricy (not to mention the cartell taxi prices). Food still affordable and yummy, with lots of vegetarian choices and plenty of gyms (thanks for the gym recommendations from you before!). BUT! We have two rules about Koh Phangan: stay away from the Full Moon-stuff and Zen Beach; can't stand the "bought my ready made hippie kit from e-bay, oh look at me how yoga I am"-crowd... In terms of clientele, I do prefer the "nomad worker" crowd over the hippe-one, and althoug the former makes the prices go up, a good side effect is that it makes the hippies go away... Did you notice how much better the coconuts taste on Koh Pangan?

Another good episode. Like you guys, when we are in Ko Samui we forget about Koh Phangan. we went to Koh Tao in January as I wanted to Scuba dive. During high season it was too crowded for us. Nice episode

We will be in Koh Phangan again for four weeks in February 2025. First stop is at Seaflower Bungalows, (we've stayed there before), so definitley will visit Secret Beach, and probably try Zen. We visit naturist beaches frequently in Spain, but as we are both in our 60's and 70's, it's probably not particulaly attractive for other beach users! First time on a naturist beach in Spain, we were both reticent about removing our clothes, but once we did it, no going back. We took the view that we would never see the other beach users again, but guess what?? we see the same people every year!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Vegan food can be really good and fresh and clean. I'm no longer vegan but like to eat it when I can. There are certain food items like mayo and other things that have mayo in them, that I can't stand, but I can usually tolerate the vegan version. So oddly enough, sometimes I prefer the vegan version.

Quick question- how do you protect yourselves from Sand flies aka biting midges aka no seeums? Was in Phuket and got bites almost at every beach and finally was told to apply repellent or coconut oil. Did not know about sand flies till I got bit all over our legs!
