@Kynatic3 ай бұрын
Any bit of animated work (and the doodles near the end of the video) were all done by me, so I'm very happy to see you like them. I think it did well to give the video just a bit of extra flair. (actually anything in the video besides mods that weren't the lil'guy and music we're all done by me so... :P ) If you're talking about the rambling part at the beginning of the video where Isaac had the big brain, that idea actually came from just stumbling on the item as I was playing on my own and remembering for when I was recording the character bits that it existed. I just did a little searching on the wiki to find it again and greenscreened the character in. Simple! Kinda. That's what you're talking about, right? I just want to make sure I'm answering correctly lol.

I loved this. The Isaac community somehow remains very active at all times despite long periods of no new content, but more than anything, our presence on youtube stagnates. We had a big influx of new Isaac youtubers around the release of repentance, but many have fallen into obscurity, stopped posting, or lost the charm of what made them special. Your editing is incredible, the custom art and animations were to die for, and you seem great with a great group of friends to go along with you. I may just be one person, but I think the Isaac community will welcome you with open arms if you decide to keep posting about our little game. I saw you mention it in another comment, but to be more specific, the official launch of true online coop is November as long as they don't delay it. PS. I have you beat for a a craziest first run sequence break (on a save file, not first ever) and I'd love to tell you the whole story if interested, but it involved self sacrifice rooms, the dark room, victory laps, turning into the lost, and R keys
@depressedkermit37523 ай бұрын
well, its not like the game is done yet. there is an online coop update scheduled to release sometime in november this year which will ABSOLUTELY boost the replayability of the game (as if it wasn't high enough already...) and even after we get our last update, there are still new content mods being developed.

I wanna do things my way, you know? Because if I can get a channel off the ground doing that, then I can do the things I'm happy to do and proud of. For example, I wanna find more ways to incorporate my art into videos, and the simple animations I did here seemed like a good way to try it. All that said, I appreciate it. (I hope he finds alt path and tainted characters, cuz he’s gonna fucking hate T.Lost) also btw, there are no alternate ending to Isaac’s story, he does not survive. the basics of it is, Isaac’s parents divorce, Isaac blames himself, the entirety of TBOI is made up inside his traumatized mind, he suffocates inside a chest, and wanders around in the afterlife. Ok for those who don’t know, here is the ACTUAL story of Isaac (spoilers, duh) Isaac and his parents lived in a small house on a hill. Isaac’s mom was religious and his father was not. One day, his father gambles away their savings trying to earn more money for his family. Isaac’s parents fight for a long while, and his dad turns to alcoholism and his mom becomes addicted to Christian broadcasts and pills. Isaac’s mom tries to push religion on his father, to which he calls her ‘insane and taking it too far’. Poor Issac is wrapped up in the whole thing. Eventually Isaac’s dad leaves and never comes back (it’s implied that he took his own life after he left) Isaac blames himself for all that went wrong with his parents, and due to the fact that his mom abuses him. Eventually Isaac decides to hide in his toy chest away from his mom, inadvertently locking himself inside. The entire game is Isaac’s final moments inside his oxygen deprived mind as his life, fears, regrets, and memories flash before his eyes. Unfortunately Isaac dies in every ending, but the best ending sees him going to heaven and reuniting with his father. The whole game is based around another game called the legend of Bumbo, which he and his dad used to play together. All in all, it’s a tragic story
