It was in December, but if anything they’re more likely to frequent the waterholes now that it’s probably a bit drier. It’s definitely worth waiting in the hide after dark. Bring a torch or spotlight if you have. There are red filters that are easier on the animals’ eyes.

@@willewout same to you! We will! We have just been in Kruger and saw a large grey-black snake. You will have to tell us what it is. Could be a black mamba, or perhaps a cobra of some kind.
