I love this little deck, but dont get the re imagined guidebook. The little cards are just as useful. In that you've gotta come up with your own expressions for the meanings. As some cards lean toward, RWS, a few Thoth and some older European type of pip deck meanings. But the imagery lets you bring your own flavour as well. I think from your flip through, you'll like the at times funny deck. My brain really glitched with the pentacle suit, because the symbol is a hexagram. Has taken a minute to get off my soap box enough to be able to hear a message come through. Hahaha but that is probably just me. Card 15. I dont particularly like, but I can make it work. I like how simple the art is, with paper cutting and how it encourages me to go with my intuition before my own rote meanings for the cards, if that makes sense. It also reminds me of my 80's Mum and her protesting feminist friends. I can almost smell the mixture of incense sticks and decorators paint through the screen. 😂 Eta: 14. Grace, always makes me think of a quote from Maya Angelou "I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights." Which I think encapsulates Temperance in action. Life is fluid, always we are trying to find homeostasis in a constantly changing environment. The image of the card gives the fairy lights as untangled, ready to go up. Whatever knots and plug fuse blown has been dealt with. Has she done it with grace or with chaos? 12. Art, liminal space. Suspension. Just like a piece of art, captured in that space. I ignore the title, because I like the word 'art' for card 14. I have a whole thing with the 7 of cups. I love this depiction

Love this video! Thanks for your fun commentary. My brain likes to put the court cards into an order, too -- I'm seeing Child ~ Page, Amazon ~ Knight, Daughter ~ Queen, Mother ~ King. The Swords sealed that order for me. Fascinating deck!! 💛💛💛

"But I can make it mean something" 😊 I love it. The Hierophant reminds me of an Anchoress or a Hildegard Von Bingen figure.

Oof the Hanged One and Temperance renamings would mess with me. But I love the Tower. Weirdly it feels so dynamic with the figure being propelled outwards, completely untethered.
