Experiment to Calibration of Micrometer

This and another mic calibration video from this channel came up in my feed. Apparently it's some sort of an engineering school. The thing that stood out is that neither of the instructors understands how to actually use a micrometer. They seem to know the basic theory, but have no aptitude for its application. As an example, in this video the instructor deflects the spindle to meet his expected reading. That's the opposite of calibration.
