Experimenting with Magnetic Paint

Today we are experimenting with Magnetic Paint made by Rust-Oleum. We have run out of room on our refrigerator for our magnets. Let's see if we can paint a wall in our kitchen to hold them all!

It looks awesome. Just a note for everyone else leaving comments. This paint settles, the iron dust will sink to the bottom, so once your first layer dries you have to stir the paint again. And a good number of coats is the best coarse of action. It is not the strongest magnetic surface, but will do a decent job. Use high strength magnets on it, especially if your stirring job wasn't the greatest.

It looks good and I agree with keeping it black otherwise it would just look like you taped magnets to the wall. Now to do a video on your magnet collection.

great job! the paint isn't actually "magnetic", it just has iron dust in it. pretty sure the screw driver was already magnetic, as many are.

Can it use as chalkboard too?

Unfortunately no. This is only magnetic paint. They do make a special chalkboard paint however. But it's either one or the other.
