I want to optimize a process where I am considering 3 factors and 3 responses using RSM....Is there someone who can teach me?

Hello! Can you please tell me why we use coded units? Thank you :-)

Hi Sarah, this reply might be a bit too late. The coded units are used to optimize the system, and are especially useful when dealing with systems with 2 variables, especially when they have different scales (e.g. kg vs tons). This is covered in more detail in videos 5B, 5C, etc in this series. Hope that helps. Kevin

Later in the sequence of videos we show how to optimize with multiple factors. In the last video we show one possible approach to dealing with systems with multiple outputs. Also, in your situation, depending on how well you know the relationship between inputs and outputs, you could also use traditional optimization methods (e.g. NLP, or a QP).
