A few years ago the Fraser in BC had over 30 million sockeye come back can you imagine!

You've given me a lot of great knowledge, but, I'm still wondering, rod, reel and mainline? Can i go out there with my Kokanee gear? Should i go out there with my lame gear? I'm 2 years into boat fishing, fairly new to Kokanee and trolling. I get the difference between Can I? And Should I?

I would use salmon rods and 8 inch dodgers and 12 inch leaders

@@outdoorsy2603 We only had 2 setups that worked but the key is Tripple X Scent and salt with some krill powder on your shrimp

@walkingonwaterfishing I cure my own coons so I put anise, xxx, and krill powder in them for scent. Idk why but Saturday was dead. Only landed 2 in the evening Friday was best for us. Landed 7 in the morning and didn't fish the evening
