They did a great job with aging the actors. I’ve wanted to watch the series, but I’ve heard it drags out in places. I don’t like trying to watch a series if it is going to stretch things out just for the heck of it. I may give it a go though yet

I watched the first two seasons and that's absolutely true. Each one should've been a movie film or maybe a 3 to 4 episode series. It all felt like it was artificially dragged out with needless little twists and turns to give episodes cliffhangers and keep ppl engaged. Cut that shit out and you'd have a much better, cleaner story. I'm glad I didn't wast 6 to 8 hrs watching season 3 bc it is very difficult to keep such convoluted plots with multiple time periods clean. It's been decades.
