Like I said Winnipeg is the same as Vancouver and we always see the Northern Lights. Every summer. Same latitude. You might have to leave the city lights to get a better view. I see them literally every year all the time , I work on CN rail and take trains out into the countryside. It is not unusual at all.

@@DragonTamer31Kit started for me I think about pretty early yesterday morning. There was smoke everywhere across our property and it was especially hard to breathe for some of my siblings and my dad because most have asthma. It was also pretty hot in our house since we couldn’t open any windows or turn on the air conditioner because apparently most of the cold air comes from outside of our house. Hopefully everyone is okay and doing well after the evacuation. Looks like it might be another Smokey summer or month.

Yeah well Winnipeg is about the same latitude as Vancouver and if you get out of the city lights you see the Northern Lights all the time. I don't see the big deal. Every summer you can see them. So this guy is wrong about Vancouver, It might be the city lights are too bright. But if you get out of the city to a dark countryside you should be able to see the Aurora Borealis at the 49th parallel any summer.
