Hi Father Mark, my wife and I changed our Memorial Day weekend plans last minute! We drove through the night to arrive in Gower Saturday morning to see her. We arrived early enough in the morning to enjoy sitting and praying in the chapel with the sisters and morning vespers. After, we walked down to see Sr. Wilhelmina, she is Amazing and Beautiful. All Angels and saints, Pray For Us!!!🙏✝️

Upon reading about her, I learned that she was born on Palm Sunday and died on Ascension Thursday. I work for the Benedictines and my boss was blessed with meeting her several years ago.

Where did you find the information to learn about her? I saw a picture of her and I loved her sweet face, you can see the holiness and goodness in her expression. God has blessed us with this miracle in this time because I think we really need a big nudge in the right direction.

Called coincidence my friends. I am sure her "non corruption" or whatever he called it will be explained by science. There are conditions that lead to preservation. Nothing like this has ever been due to the supernatural.

As a Catholic funeral director of 50 years & Deacon of 23 years, I’m not surprised at all…the mystical side of the church confounds many, as does the mystery of death. I’m ecstatic that our God has given the black community such a gift! When her life is further detailed her example of how she lived will speak volumes, and hopefully will serve as a roadmap to sanctity. And so we pray 🙏🏾🌹

@@deadboltzz5199 you must not be paying attention to comments/ explanations of other Catholics in this forum. I'll reiterate for you brotherly Christian. You can look this up in the Bible where it's mentioned that the prayers of the Just are very pleasing to God who are close to Him. Their prayers are favored by God than those of sinners. When one reaches heaven after one dies, that soul becomes confirmed in virtue and in grace - a Saint, and that is why saints are pleasing to God. Since God loves these souls in heaven with Him, they can intercede for poor sinners like us here on earth. I'm sure at least once in your lifetime you've asked a regular person to pray for you or a loved one? Well that live person is not yet a Saint and yet you value that person's assistance in praying for you. So why is a soul in heaven confirmed in grace and virtue not better or good enough to ask for their intercession? One doesn't have to be religious to understand that; you just have to understand logic. It's like asking someone who is rich on how to become successful in life and ask for his help than asking a beggar the same thing. Who do you think can help you with such a request? The rich man or the beggar? In the Catholic Faith, The Saints in heaven are better intercessors before God for us than a prayer of one who could he steeped in sin - just an analogy. PAX!

I visited as I live here in MO...I listened to one of the sisters and was baffled. MO has a high humidity...the coffin had been broken open and had mud and water in it. The lady had not been embalmed. Her state is completely impossible...

Thousands are visiting the tiny town of Gower. Yes, this is a significant phenomenon for not just Catholics but for all. The town has been inundated with visitors, and the locals are volunteering along with authorities to usher in seekers. Truly a sign for our troubled times and minds. My husband and I took our daughter who is very ill there last Thursday. We were very blessed for we were able to see, touch, touch our religious rosaries to her, and pray by her! We are praying for Sr. to intercede for our daughter and be a cause for her canonization!

Thank you all who are praying for my daughter through Sr. Wilhelmina’s intercession. My daughter is 28 and has been I’ll for 14 years. She has a spinal fluid leak(s) and life is a constant spinal headache, pain, nausea & vomiting and lying supine. She needs a miracle. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🕊🕊🕊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sr. Wilhelmina has already given me hope. In her older age she did great things and never gave up. She is so beautiful. I have come to realize how we are body and soul, and we must respect both. She is an amazing woman.

After hearing you say there was no embalming fluid, it's even more incredible! Jesus is trying to tell us to get our act together! With the Eucharistic miracles, Sr. Wilhelmina, etc.....he wants us to turn away from all the things of this earth and turn back to him. What an amazing event! BEWARE OF DECEPTION! There is no single incidence of the incorrupt body of a saint/prophet/patriarch/matriarch/virgin/priest/martyr/apostle/evangelist/disciple etc., throughout the millennia of biblical history, both in the Old and New Testaments. God's way of saying "I'm there" is the restoration of life (raising of the dead) which is found all over the Bible (and still happens today where the true Gospel is preached). God NEVER confers incorruptibility, because it encourages necromancy which is severely condemned and forbidden by the Bible. Incorruptibility is a scheme for promoting Romanism (so-called "Catholicism"), which is a false gospel. Incorruption NEVER happened to a true believer, while the raising of the dead has NEVER occurred among the heedless Roman “Catholics.” It is almost unbelievable the folly that humans can invent once they stop using the Bible to check dogma/liturgy.

They discussed and argued about many things but the most important thing was the eucharist. Very biblical as Jesus himself said unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you have no life within you. If the church is ok with uncorruptable saints I'm good with it too.

(Mrs.). Yes! We were there Friday and in line with a non-Catholic man genuinely curious. We gave him 2 medals which he placed on her body. It was a powerful encounter for all of us and so encouraging and hopeful for many fruits from this miracle!! Also, praying for support for the daunting task ahead for the monastery and the community of Gower🙏♥️

Nicely presented Fr. Goring. My family has the blessing to be somewhat regularly connected with the sisters in Gower (we visit the abbey about 10 times per year). It is beyond words and earthly explanation to see God's power and blessings so visibly at work. We have been to see Sr. Wilhelmina's body multiple times over the past two weeks. Our older kids volunteered this weekend to help with pilgrims (handing out water and fruit, pushing wheel chairs, helping park cars, etc.). Being with her was truly an experience of quiet and peace, and a bold reminder of God's promise of the Resurrection. I asked Sr. Wilhelmina to intercede at the throne of God for a particular intention and the very next day God granted my request. This apparent incorruptible body of Sr. Wilhemina is truly a Gift from God. Praise His holy Name.

The monastery sends me their quarterly newsletter. I recall the issue regarding Sister Wilhelmina's childhood and call to her vocation. I believe Our Lord and Our Lady had visited her as a child. I hope her life of devotion will be declared publicly as a witness to the one, true Catholic faith.

Consequently, they both rejected the Reformation, by which the true Church returned to the Supremacy of Scripture which Jesus and the Apostles believed. The direct result of their heresy was that all the monsters of power in Europe (Adolf Hitler, Frances Franco, Benito Mussolini, Tito, Lenin, Stalin, the Napoleons, King Leopold, all the Communist dictators, and even today's Vladimir Putin) have been produced EXCLUSIVELY by those two denominations. The nations and sub-nationalities that accepted the Reformation were totally spared of these monsters. No nation of the Reformation became a victim of any of those radically evil -isms (Communism, Leninism, Fascism, Authoritarianism, Totalitarianism). Nazism was the brain child of a would-be RC priest. No nation of the Reformation has had a Head of State or Head of Government judicially executed or toppled by force of arms or via an insurrection since 1800. What is the essential difference between Haiti (a basket case) and Jamaica (a thriving country). One is Romanist, the other mainly Anglican. What is the essential difference between South America (with so many "issues") and North America (with long-sustained stability and democracy). One is Romanist, the other largely anti-Romanist. Why was colonialism in Nigeria or Ghana so benign while in Congo or Namibia it was rapacious. The colonizers in Congo, etc. were Romanists, and the ones in Nigeria, etc. were Reformed (in fact, it was mainly because of relentless pressure from Britain that the Belgians were forced to reform their reign of terror in Congo). Why was there a movement for the abolition of slavery in the UK, but not in Italy. Same reason you have an intractable mafia problem in most RC- majority countries (including Italy) but not in the nations of the Reformation. The ill effects of Romanism are so profound that TODAY while all the nations of the Reformation retain the Cross of Christ on their flags, not a single RC-majority nation does so. Have you heard the common joke in Italy that only Italians could have taken Christianity and turned it into the Roman Catholic Church? Even the Italians have enough self-awareness to understand the distance between Apostolic Christianity and Romanism. The license to (mis)interpret Scripture and the wild liturgical innovations of Rome were by-products of the Italian character (i.e., highly romantic, imaginative, and licentious). Good for art and architecture, but disastrous for a historical faith like Christianity which is founded on truth.

I was at a talk in Sydney tonight. Fr Chris Alar is here from America. He did a talk on his most favourite saint, St Charbel. He said in the last 2 years St Charbel has done more miracles than he has done in the past 2 decades. I believe God is doing more miracles to bring people back to the faith in these trying times 🙏🏼

Let's explain: First- The Catholic Church never teaches that the bodies or relics or personal effects of these people hold any power or grace within themselves, BUT, simply that God can use these items, this matter, as conduits of grace and healing. How do we know this? Well, because its in the bible. In Kings 13:20-21, the BONES of Elisha bring back a dead man to life after he is accidently thrown into Elisha's grave. It was the BONES that were infused with GOD's power, not power of their own. In Matthew 9:20-22 the HEM OF CHRIST'S CLOAK heals the hemorrhaging woman. Notice, the power of Jesus flowed out of Him even into His personal items. In Act's 19:11-125, we hear that Paul's handkerchiefs and aprons were taken away from HIS BODY to touch the bodies of the sick people, and immediately disease left them AND evil spirits came out of them. This is how holy Paul was that even the things his body touched were sanctified with the power of God. So- as you can see, YES, the body parts and bones and personal effects of HOLY deceased people can and do contain the power and grace that comes from GOD alone, not the person/saint, but that God confers upon such holy persons. This is the reason why we too venerate these people and their bodies and their personal effects.

Last time I checked, the Bible is a book, or a collection of books, and the Bible neither commands nor condemns anything. Please do not confuse the book which records and shows God's word with God. Jeremiah was shut up in a cistern for how long, a year, and survived. How? Similar preservation by God. Besides, dear child, the New Testament is very different from the Old. You sadly lack the slightest understanding of the power of the Eucharist. The Old Testament didn't have the Eucharist, and you don't either. We were so blessed to see Sister Wilhemina on Thursday after the 11 am mass!! The sisters are quite famous for their Gregorian chant CD'S and truly have angelic voices. There is a peacefulness and serenity surrounding Sister Wilhemina, and I have no doubt she will one day be Canonized. 2 days later, we're still in awe. ✝️

The blatantly super- natural events that can be examined up close by scientists are such a merciful gesture from our Father in Heaven! One of the reasons it is so important to make a pilgrimage to see for yourself is because evil propaganda will be used to try and cover it up. Also, if we make the effort to go, it is proof of goodwill and honours God. Here in Quebec, Canada, we have at least two incorruptible saints but they are hidden by the revolutionary modernists. One in Lac au Saumon, Quebec, and one in Saint Damien. In Lac au Saumon, there was even a miraculous spring like at Lourdes. Miracles were happening, people were leaving their crutches and back braces in the chapel as proof of the miracles, in gratitude. The new modernist priest burned the crutches and filled in the spring with a truckload of cement!!!😢

I think these stories of this beautiful soul is for a reason. like the stories we hear of the Body of Christ in Communion now we heard of this beautiful soul because so many in the Catholic Faith and traditional aspect is being mock and insulted by the gay community especially in LA with those Dodge clowns and especially hate filled is when they mock Christ by doing a pole dance on the cross. this world so much belong to the devil. @@gabacena6257 While I am sure sister was a faithful servant to the Lord while she lived on earth, she STILL has no powers and is NOT to be prayed to OR for now that she is dead. We do not need an intercessor to take our prayers to Christ...we can do it ourselves. My grandmother was a faithful servant too...but I am not praying to her or expecting any miracles. iI is against the Bible. AND belittles the sacrifice of Jesus.

@@therese_paula This is just like as in Jude 1:9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” For this same reason satan and archangel Michael were fighting for the body of Moses.. because people would have done the same thing then.. start praying and touching his body ..but God did not allow it. But now the devil was allowed to take this body to test people and everyone has failed.May the Lord help these people

Very significant that this occurred during the celebration of Pentecost. I also notice that as secular as America and the West has become, this occurred in Missouri-the “Show Me” state. This Benedictine order charism is the adoration and dedication to the Holy Eucharist. It is definitely worth prayer and personal attention to how this is handled by the hierarchy.

But you are DELIBERATELY dodging the fact that for thousands of years God's Holy Spirit inspired the Bible to be written by prophets, patriarchs and evangelists. The living are to pray, and not asking the dead to pray for us. We also should not pray to "saints" we are to pray to our Heavenly Father in His son's name Jesus. The Apostles are referred to as saints, what that means is that if you have accepted Jesus as our Savior and trust in Him and repent of our sins, that we too also are saints. Don't be misled by these alleged miracles, it draws your attention away from our Savior. Too many things are incorrect and too symbolic in the Catholic church

Father Charbel came into my life in a special way last year. I had known about him, but I thought he was mostly for Lebanon. I cannot explain how all of a sudden I felt close to him. I have visited a Merionite parish relatively near to us, a friend gave me his scapular, his statue, and a bracelet with his picture on it, as a good bye gift before she moved,,,, to Maryland, where she now lives one hour away from where he is honored in a special way. I am SO grateful to our God for Saint Sharbel.
