If you want more TF2 tutorial videos, I recommend Bad Weapon Academy, by FishStickOnAStick - Gaming. He basically shows how to utilize the worst weapons in the game: (The Pomspon, The Red Tap Recorder, The Shortstop), and make them good or at least usable.

The first one you thought was Fortnite was actually Risk of Rain 2, a very fun roguelike game. 10:51 TF2 runs on a modified version of the Half Life 2 engine, so the computer sees is as hl2.exe.

You SHOULD play portal. The amount of fun you get as your brain slowly stops is great. There is also multiplayer, which can turn into 1v1 depending on your teammate.

10:50 The reason why it says hl2.exe it's because Tf2 runs in the same game engine as Half-life 2, and by the time it was developed valve didn't even care to create a separate executable for other games in the engine using hl2's launcher instead for every source engine game "counter-strike source, day of defeat source, tf2, left 4 dead 1 etc" I think the first source game to have it's own executable was portal 2. Tf2 to this day uses the hl2 executable to launch.

The reason it said hl2.exe is because that's TF2's name as a file for some reason. TF2 is kinda weird on what its detected as, discord even checks it as gmod sometimes lol

Welp, as usual time to put in my usual request for the TF2 comic dubs to continue to show my support for it. I recommend the youtube channel "The Beard" As the other youtube channel who did the comic dubs never finished it. Again, as usual i'd recommend starting with the **Team Fortress 2 Catch-up Comic**, then after that you can do the main story: the order being #1 Ring of Fiired. #2 Unhappy Returns #3 A Cold day in Hell #4 Blood in the water #5 Old Wounds #6 The Naked and the Dead.

You should watch a video called "the creatures of deep rock galactic" by sniss, if you dont know deep rock galactic is a team shooter where dwares go mining on an alien infested planet. Its mechanics remind those who play it of tf2 and the video ( along with others from the same guy ) shines some lights at individual aspects of the game
