I purchased the 4070Ti a year ago; previously, I had the 3060Ti. Buying the 4070Ti Super when you already own the 4070Ti doesn't make much sense, at least for me. I primarily use my GPU for Blender. The release of the 4070Ti Super was unexpected for everyone, so I suppose I'll wait for the 5080 or 6080. The 4070Ti is indeed a really good GPU.

Correct. I use it for the same as well. 3D application. There won’t be that much of a difference for such upgrade, other than the VRAM requirement as per your scene.

The 16GB VRAM on the 7800 XT seems great for future-proofing. If I were to use ray tracing at a medium level while making games, would the 7800 XT be able to handle it? I'm just a bit confused about what to buy.

I have had some rather surprising results while testing the RTX 4070TI Super! I have a workstation configured with a Ryzen 9 5900x, 98GB of RAM, and an MSI Gaming Trio RTX 3080 with 12GB VRAM. I recently started working with 8k 10bit 360 footage that requires significant noise reduction and color grading. Since NR is a GPU-accelerated effect I decided to try and upgrade the GPU to see if I could reduce the processing times. Currently, with the built-in NR algorithms or with NeatVideo I get an average of 1fps processing speed while rendering the videos. I decided to purchase a Gigabyte RTX 4070TI Super with 16GB of VRAM. NOW THE SURPRISE: I is actually worst than the RTX 3080.... After several rounds of testing and multiple driver installs and re-installs, the RTX3080 takes 1h24m to process/render 5min of footage to h.265 while the RTX4070TISuper takes 1h30m... I tried to run Pugetbench benchmarking but it fails with both cards... Anyone has had a similar experience??

i got a 4070TI Gigabtye gaming OC around christmas time for $500 off fb marketplace, upgraded from 1660. Was going to get a 4060 cause I wasn't trying to spend a lot of money but couldn't say no to 4070TI for that price.

Got a vanilla 4070 for $530, the Super was tempting but its around $70 more for the cheapest one. Had the super came with 16gb, i would've chose that over the 4070.

The Ti is actually a tier up in performance but the super moniker is more like a refresh than a tier up. Usually the Super card replaces the older card and it has a slight uplift in performance for the same price as the older card. With Nvidia there are way too many similar sounding names and that creates confusion more than anything.

I have a 3080 12gb version in my machine (DaVinci Resolve) and I only do 1080p and 4k video work (insurance company auto claims stuff) I was always on the prowl for a used 3090 or 3090Ti used but geez they're still kind of Up There (used FTW3 850 and a 1200 Founders edition) so geez. I'm listening to you on the RX7900 XT with them updating their drivers and such. I love AMD processors but the GPU's for editing has left a lot to be desired in the past. Maybe they've seen the light and are making a move forward. A new 7900XT for 790.00 USD. Lets see where this boat ride takes us! Good Video Sir.

The only two of those that are worth getting is either the 4070 super especially the founders edition because it’s the bang for the “overpriced” buck, and the other is the 4070 ti super for those that think they have to have 16gb of vram. I really like my 4070 super founders edition it’s an awesome little gpu for gaming atleast, but if Nvidia would have made a founders edition of the 4070 ti super then I would have got that instead.

There is no test benchmark available Intel arc a770 with after effect. None of the tech reviewers tested a sample edit in after effect with arc a770.

More than enough until you really need a better card. If you're a serious editor a 3090 is also an option, or go right for 4090.

Error on the video. 4070 ti super has the same L2 Cache as the 4070 super and 4070 TI at 48 MB. Only 4080/4080 super have 64 MB l2 cache.

the strix version is not worth it, i have the asus tuf oc ti super and manage +210 on the core and +2000 on the memory. Like that it runs stable in all games and i get about 25700 graphics points in timespy. it manages to grt about 49.2 tflops then.

Having the same number doesn't make them the same "line." A name is arbitrary and Nvidia lies more and more nowadays. 4070 Ti Super is a cut down 4080 die with 16GB while the other three have 12. That one above all just doesn't belong with the other 3. Oh good, you said that.
