Unfortunately, the U.S. Constitution doesn’t rule out Presidents running office from prison. It obviously it didn't occur to the Founding Fathers that a criminal could be supported by a political party, or people voting for that political party. So, if Trump does end up in jail, he could still be President of the United States. Both outcomes are possible simultaneously. DeSantis, another Republican running for office also has legal issues; human trafficking: immigrants, etc.

I recommend you watch the video again. Or the first time. It was explained why. Trump is in legal trouble for obstructing justice in multiple ways, and not returning the documents, and showing classified documents to random people. Biden and Pence returned the small number of outstanding documents before Archives noticed they were missing. Yes, they seem to have been prompted by the FBI raid. Trump's truckload of missing documents obviously drew immediate attention in Archives.
