Let us talk about a rather unknown Digimon character, named Dien! A digidestined but from Vietnam! To be honest, while there is VERY VERY little about this character, just knowing its existence, I am sure will make some people very happy. Right?

i would honestly love to see a short story series about the international digi-destined. i don't really care about the form of media i just want them to have some form of spotlight where we could get to know them as fans of the series.

As Vietnamese I could see why there is not much information about Dien and information about him and how he meet his digimon partners which is gorillamon but even with limited information I was really hope that digimon would expand and explore on the Vietnamese mythology and legends and its culture to see the possibility of digimon that was based on the mythology of Vietnam and expand on the diversity of digimon and to appreciate other countries cultures and finding out new possibilities of new digimon that was based on countries mythology and legends and the culture and also I really like to see a much explored about digimon that was based on other countries culture and mythology. :3

Just take care of yourself Nostalgia. It is all too easy to grind oneself down. Thank you for listening to my concerns. As for representation I mostly care about good stories. Though it would be nice if they actually changed the setting every now and then. Not everything has to happen in Japan or even modern earth for that matter.

I want less representation in Digimon. I am happy with the baseline japanese story and dont need to be "represented" on screen. Characters are already relatable enough without them having to "be just like me".
