Something i like about the sistermons was how ciel went from a censorship to her own character. At first, she was intended as a censored version of noir, but the people at digimon went and made her her own character. They gave her her own weapon, a katana, and made her have a distinctly personality, as seen as in ghost game. It shows you that sometimes, limitations can boost your creativity by forcing you to think of ideas you wouldn’t have thought of before

I'm not sure if they are Digimon or if they came from Touho or BlazeBlue. Think about it. In Digimon lore, they are created from lost data or shards of data which takes the form of Digimon. (Imagine if these Digimon in particular were lost leftover data from a Blaze Blue game.)

Fun fact the only reason why Ciel exists is because of censorship. When hackers memory came to America they didn't want Noir to be shown because she looks to much like a nun with a gun. So they made Ciel but with how popular Ciel got they just made Ciel cannon. And that's why Ciel uses guns in hacker's memory and now her sword

One thing I dislike was how they was treated in cybersleuth. Due to some people on the internet for some unknown reason decided to switch noir for ceil in the english release. This of course was them saying that it was due to religious imagery which I would understand if not for the fact there is angels and demons in the games as well like angemon and devimon. I feel that there is another unknown reason we may never know.

I have heard of the Sistermons from Jesmon's storyline. They are pretty much the most interesting take on a nun and they remind me of the anime Crono Crusade.

I think the sistermon’s are very interesting and it character dynamic with each other and their own personality are good and their relationships with Gantoumon and Hackmon/Jesmon it reminds me of couple of Characters from Kingdom hearts Gantoumon reminds me of Axel and Jesmon/ Hackmon reminds me of Roxas/ Ventus as Both Gantoumon and Axel takes Hackmon and Roxas under the wing in their respective Groups as Jesmon and Roxas are the thirteenth members of their groups Sistermon Blanc reminds me of Namine Sistermon Noir reminds me of axion amd Sistermon Ciel reminds me of Aqua as all three are close friends of Roxas/ Ventus.

Huh, that’s interesting, I would think that Blanc and Noir would be Twins because they were around before Ciel and Ciel doesn’t really look that similar to them, very interesting indeed. I've been wondering about something, and I've brought this up in the comments for some previous videos; the Devas are based on the Chinese Zodiac, or rather accepted the official global version of the Chinese Zodiac. I'll explain a little; there are actually cultural variants of the animals in the Chinese Zodiac in various Asian nations; for example, the Cat replaces the Rabbit in Vietnam (although I have seen some accounts that the Rat is replaced by the Cat in Vietnam), so there is genuinely a Year of the Cat; this is important because in practically all of the accounts of the story of how the Chinese Zodiac's animals were decided involve the Rat tricking the Cat into missing out on the event by showing up the day after everything went down. But that still begs the question of what the alternate, ethnic variants, of the Chinese Zodiac animals are in relation to the Devas. I've also been wondering, since the Devas are based on the Chinese Zodiac, what Digimon, based on the Greek Zodiac, would be like and called. Sagitarrimon, who gets his name and basic design from Sagitarrius, is a thing, but where are the other elven members of the Greek Zodiac? And what are they like? What would we even call the group? Another commenter shared their ideas of what that could look like when I posted these quandaries on the Explaining Shakomon video's comments; they posited a hypothetical name for the group and a theory about them being effectively the attendants of the Olympus 12.

my favorite one out of the sisters is Ciel i dont know why but love the idea of a Nun that uses a Katana as oppose to her sisters Blanc Trident and Noir Dual Handguns also loved her in Ghost Game it show what happens if Ciel doesnt have her Sisters or Gankoomon & Hackmon to keep her enterained

I have always wanted a movie which covers the journey of Huckmon, it's definitely a favorite among the Digimon lore. Personally I have a great dislike for sistermon ciel... Mainly because she is continued to be used as a tool to erase Sistermon Noir! First it was Digimon Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory, but now in the Digimon TCG every single Sistermon Noir card has been turned into sistermon ciel... Even cards which only have Noir as a background character has been censored, erasing Noir! I have always found it ironic how when Hacker's Memory originally released it was ONLY the american version which was censored, the European which was released in Italy still had Sistermon Noir.

TCG not only has every Noir card been replaced with ciel, but cards like Huckmon, BaoHuckmon, and BeelStarrmon have had Noir erased from the artwork... Heck it was so bad that the newest Huckmon had BOTH Noir and Blanc erased from the artwork leaving only Huckmon with Sistermon ciel

Despite the Sistermon's appearance and names they act more like the Yakuza or the Banchos which certainly fits Gankoomon's overall design. Still how are digimon able to tell the difference between humans and digimon? The Sistermons and Rythm from the Data Squad movie are nearly indistinguishable from humanity with only a single detail that belies their nature such as the eyes of the Sistermons or Rythm's ribbon that isn't a ribbon. How come they aren't confused for humans by other digimon? Given how much they break the mold the Sistermons may be what Gennai is. Gennai told Izzy that he isn't a digimon and can't digivolve due to him being formatted differently. He doesn't have what the digimon have and I cannot remember what he called it. They could explain why the Sistermons don't digivolve, they can't and aren't actual digimon. They don't appear to be digi-elves or digi-gnomes though Calumon shows us that the digi-gnomes can certainly pass as digimon should they wish. It does make me wonder if there is a civilization or organization of digital humanoids (like Gennai), digi-elves, and digi-gnomes that we aren't aware of given that the franchise is obsessed with dragging humans into things. On that note the Sistermons could be the result of digitizing human consciousness but they might end up as a digital humanoids anyway.

So I have a question . 5 actually . They are the fallowing 1 . If humans are DNA based and are as complex as we are . Wouldn’t a digimon eating a human be the equivalent of eating cyanide or arsenic to them ? 2 . If humans have data then doesn’t that mean they to are digital life form thus making them basically both androgynous and unable to reproduce on there own 3 . If human digimon hybrids can exist then are they even digital anymore 4 . If digimon have no true gender and not even in roles then way do they even have gender specific anatomy ( besides fan serves ) what is the purpose of having Breasts or a feminine body or abs and a masculine body . Why would digimon even become humanoid or even animals . Wouldn’t a more Eldridge appearance be more appropriate 5 . If there is a digimon practically for everything on the internet then how come we don’t see things like for example Hentai inspired or sorry for saying this but porn inspired digimon . Or even better slasher kaiju sci fi or video game inspired digimon . I know digimon has incredible inspiration but there are types of media that can be repetitive of not child friendly things made child friendly and even famous franchises and games and even other anime. It just doesn’t make sense why there are no digimon to show both the wholesome and innocent things on the internet and the much darker and more mature things . Heck there aren’t even vtuber digimon , why is that
