I have done incursion on multiple leagues (I don't play PoE that much) and every time I do it I am completely lost. This is my 2nd Zizaran video about incursion...still completely lost. WTF is the objective of this? Going to the top of the pyramid? Finding certain rooms? How do you connect them? WTH is happening???

@@Chris-zg7ty u simply want to take Alva nodes from atlas, read which architect u should kill (the who will upgrade room after killing) upgrade rooms to tier 3, always connect Apex of Atzolatl (boss room) and sell that dungeon or do it yourself (sell price depends of rooms rarity / loot the dungeon and make profit from it)

Something felt a bit off for this video quality wise for an "everything" explained I would've like to see some talking about the incursion specific mods on items and which ones are good To add on that, maybe talk about every room type and what can drop there Maybe talk a bit about what the mysterious vaal flash merchant is and why you'd want that node I'd like to have seen the boss and its phases explained And some information about how to use the corruption chambers, which uniques are good candidates to double corrupt, how to figure out which gems you'd want to double corrupt. Incursion is fun, I love your knowledge, I want full PoE university for an everything explained! I remember hating incursion so much when it came out, I just never had time to clear the whole thing and run and get the keys because I was so zdps knowledge wise. All the atlas improvements over the years to double the time were so welcome until I got smart enough that every build can zoom through them now.

As a decently new player I honestly did not understand most of the video, it went completely over my head but maybe if I play back some things I could piece it together.

This is what ends up happening when instead of properly scripting and structuring a guide you basically do an improvised stream VOD and upload it as a "guide". Ziz does that a lot especially in league starts... But I guess it's more of an issue in how the videos are presented, they're not bad if you want to watch an experienced player run through the content, but they suck if you present them as "fully explained" guides.

Couple of corrections. 1) You have a 50% chance to upgrade the room tier twice due to the small passive before Resource Reallocation. 2) I'm 99% sure the max number of Stones of Passage you can get is 2, regardless of how many adjacent unconnected rooms there are.

Alva is nice but it would be amazing if you could do a video for getting the right people into the final safehouse for Betrayal

get other people out of the safehouse. get that person as a free agent. wait for them to show up, done

having all the atlas passive nodes especially the "Leader is more likely to show up" helps a ton in swapping around people. Rivals (red lines) tend to stay away from their rivals, friends (green lines) tend to follow where you put their friends. Having a list of where you want people handy so that you don't have to look at the cheetsheet everytime is great for running it fast. Betrayal is a great mechanic for SSF.

Subtractem has a pretty detailed guide on his channel, and I think that Ziz also has an old one on his series of PoE university, and it should still be useful.

The thing I appreciate about Incursion, as a new player, is that the game literally tells you jack sh!t about what the fck you're suppose to do. So, you just jump in a portal run around in circles and after 30s you're done. Incursion! (sarcasm)

One of my favorite mechanics ever! It's also an incredibly reliable and worthwhile mechanic. I can consistently sell these temples throughout the entire league.

What I learned from this video: "Go top right no matter what. After you're done building the temple, look for corruption and gem chambers then hope it sells."

Is it better for newer players to reveal temple on white maps, if best rewards are corruption chambers and doriany chamber aren't dependable on levels of map you did incursions

so considering you are running low maps for this can we assume people dont really care about the temple level as long as it has the corruption rooms ? or is it a specific hardcore thing ?

If you Want a 21/20 oder 21/23 vaal gem. What gem you put the lapidary lens on? The 20/20 vaal gem or the 20/23 uncorrupted non vaal Version ?

You can get alva anywhere in act 7. Causeway spawn is only a guaranteed spawn if you don't happen to spawn any until then.

I made the mistake of entering my first temple and got absolutely destroyed. I should be used to that by now, every mechanic in this game is given to new players far too early.

This really didn’t help me. Idk if it’s because I’m too new or what. But this sounded like “teaching like the student already knows it” as my old topology professor say. The info is not introductory😢sounds like a refresher for people who know the game well.

When you have a complete temple, talk to alva in town/hideout and she has a second button to get the temple as an item.

Hoping more from other league mechanics for newbies. They are starting to pop off everywhere. I myself is not a newbie but i kind of stay away from other leagues that i only now appreciating and want to encounter like alva.

Ziz, I'm sure your heart is in the right place, you clearly love this game but jesus christ man you couldn't make a streamlined explanation of how to make a sandwich never mind a PoE mechanic. You have this way of explaining nothing and fixating on irrelevant details at length without ever driving home critical points that leaves viewers at the end just flustered. Maybe it's because English is your second language, but you also have a habit of almost always using pronouns or determiners (them/this/that/those) in place of the actual nouns that would make following what you are trying to poorly get to the point of at least possible. I really don't mean to rip you to shreds but this community desperately needs someone to take the reins from you as the most popular content creator because you do almost nothing to help onboard people.

If you’re in trade league Incursion isn’t worth doing. Only two temple rooms sell and they don’t sell for anywhere near enough to justify the time spent or time lost if you don’t get one of those two rooms and you’re left with a temple that isn’t even worth running yourself.

I mean that's what sucks about trade league in general, you end up chasing currency/hour so all the nuance in each content and the respective rewards get kinda erased, you just do whatever makes you the most currency and buy what you need, instead of having to engage with each mechanic. It's not an incursion specific issue.

This guide is not beginner friendly at all!! I'm trying to understand the mechanic, but you go straight into the atlas passive tree from the beginning. Better explain simply how this mechanic actually works, or maybe I didn't open the right guide.
