Would you like to know more about the architecture of my chateau ?

Yes please love hearing those stories, personal insights, how things were for the people of those times and how you can see the changes in the chateau and/or the people who lived there. Mind you, I like to hear about the common people too, the gardeners, laundry maids (not that they are likely to have left their marks, but still), the farmers who took care of the animals and the land. Thanks for the offer, I know it takes a lot of research

So both an enfilade and a corridor. Cool. LOVE the backstory to the architecture and the cultural mores.

Good morning. Well this explains much. I’ve often seen, in videos, windows dissected by stairs and wondered the reasoning behind it. Thanks for the explanation. No apologies needed for “mess”. It’s a home, not a museum.

Learn something new every day! p.s. people who get unsettled w/ heights do not handle looking down well. My mother was that way whole life. Suggest maybe just record out & away rather than straight down!

Hello, I am sorry but I didn't understand the meaning of what you said. May you say it in a different way ?

@ my mother had issues w/ heights trynot show the camera viewing going down i.e. looking down on the trees you don't have that problem but those that do it upsets them. I finally got Mom to look out & not down she would panic! hope this makes better sence now.
