Holland USF Terminal to Terminal = Linehaul...6 days on 1 day off usually Sunday to Saturday,$104,000 a year free family insurance.. And our city driver pu and deliver.. Bid Runs meet at halfway ...GB to Nashville meet halfway is a great example ,in the Gorge on i40!

Every holland driver I’ve talked to says 75-80k but all that’s fine and dandy but if your retirement is trash it doesn’t matter . You should start a KZbin channel about them . Honestly if YRC/holland could get their pension in shape they’d be #1 next to abf in my book

See FedEx freight and ups is strict on uniform and being groomed but them boys are top of the top paid in LTL and package delivery but it’s so damn hard to get in either one cause nobody leaves those two.

I wouldn’t say top paid , they just pay over time which is nice . They’re hourly pay / cpm pays isn’t that far off from the rest of the LTL companies . In bham every LTL company makes more hourly than ups freight . And no one wants to go there Bc they start at 17$ an hour .and FedEx will work you only 40 hours til you’ve been there 6+ years then you’ll get some OT . But that experience can vary by terminal

They also have a ton more drivers which means there are more mouths talking about the land of milk and honey. So that’s one part of the bias which you’ll have to filter out when you hear about Fedex/UPS pay

Well let's all be honest in the long run there will be 3 main big carries for parcel packages and LTL work ups, Amazon, fedex. If anyone really thinks a lot of these LTL companies will be around I don't think so big corporation take over and buy more and more of what they need and trust if they see something they want they take it, in the future there will be 1 big union company and that will be ups and the none union companies will be fedex and amazon. Plus 2 of them have multiple sectors and they have international companies over sea's and FEDEX and UPS are expanding even more over there.

@@theviking5597 UPS dipped their finger into the LTL business (UPS Freight) thinking they could apply parcel logistics to the LTL business but it never worked out. UPS sold UPS Freight this year at a loss.

Yes I know there strong point is parcel packages and been know they sold off that branch they barely make money on it, it just like fedex there strong point is freight there massive and and I keep seeing them put more and more fedex freight facilities up. All I'm saying is if people think these companies like saia, xPo, Estes, r an l, Dayton, old dominion and etc. Can really in the long run stay in business with these 3 huge money corporation your wrong. These 3 are ahead of technology they have electric vans already and soon electric truck will be with them. Plus watch them get a break on buying massive amount of these electric vehicles other companies won't be able to do that so that will put them out.

Yeah like I explain, differs by terminal we have 3 combo runs and the 3rd is on the dock 90% of the time the other 2 work the dock 2 hours and then run a 350 mile run then do swaps the rest of the day but those guys are the #1 and #3 combo guy , I couldn’t wait that long for those runs lol

I'll save solo drivers some time... It's regional-OTR-reset home time, basically, but with paid-health and 401k(not union) 2:21 2-3(bid)(2 off one week 3 off next repeat) 4:06 1-2(bid)(thurs night home fri short-run then weekend off repeat)(what seniors grab up) 4:50 wildcard(what they call on-call most places) 5:36 SYSTEM(weekends off.... basically regional-reset) rest is team and P&D-combo stuff

@@KDSTrucking Most people go after LTL thinking it's home nightly or every few days linehaul. I think 1-2 is as close as it gets without P&D, though. Seniority probably takes all that.
