I lost it when you said, "grand slam drive safely". Great video as always.

When you say the hitter is expecting a fastball on the slider because you were going north and south with the curveball/ fastball , would the be able to replace the curveball with a changeup

Hey Robbie, WTH is 45% Spin Efficiency and a 10:30 Axis mean?
@chriskusek20182 жыл бұрын
not spin it as hard and the break happens at 10 then breaks straight down thus 30 so the slider moves right to left going toward 10 then drops straight down which is 30
@tonycarlton59722 жыл бұрын
@@chriskusek2018 , sounds like the spin would be easier to read and so easier to hit if there is less spin.

2nd batter, after strike 2 on a high curve. I would have went high fastball out of the zone expecting a swing and miss.. But I didn’t make it to the big leagues.

Hey Mr. Robby! I'm new to your channel and I was wondering with baseball coming up in spring should I throw a curveball? As of right now I have a 4 seam, sinker (2 inches of tail), and a change-up (kinda). I will be 14 and a half in the spring and do you think that's old enough to throw one?
@erikradder82383 жыл бұрын
Why wouldn’t you throw that?

@@chessbricks2134 as long as you throw it properly and take care of your arm you will be fine. The main problem with younger players with tommy John is they don’t do it properly.

I don’t recommend it. So many pros get tommy John because of the splitter. But if it’s super nasty then by all means
