Traction device from my chiropractor saved me after a back injury. I was in excruciating pain for 6 months after an accident, and I was referred to a chiropractor with a decompression device that put my disc back in place. Took about 6 visits. now I just go twice a year to maintain. So happy!

omg...(i got herniated disc) this video more enlighten my mind now what is really the benefits why my therapy have spine traction,like the second item have shown in this video, thank you always,..i am a satisfied watcher of ur vids doc!☺️

You can do traction with 2 chairs or bar stools at home. For anyone curious, look up how to decompress the spine at home on youtube

I'm not sure if you can answer my question/s, but I'll give it a try. As a person with lax joints, or rotery jointed, with every joint in my body able to sublux on its own or, as with my knees, hands, legs, elbows, feet toes and most recently my lower 6 to 8 inches of back bone from the start of the coxis (start of my lower back) up, has gone out and back in randomly or after laying or trying to stand. I went into the e.r. and they took x-rays and tried pain relief to little to no avail. I'm just a regular person with advancing rotery joints that is grasping at straws while trying to run a home. my mother told me about this idea. but I'm not sure if anyone in this field of medical care would touch me with a 12 foot traction bar. yet I think it may be worth a try, my thoughts are that if we try this with my "regular doctor" like everyone else says to ask, and I will, or even the bone specialist, that I really don't think anyone has seen a case like mine. I'm not under or over playing the severity of this either. I just would like to know what you as a traction specialist, would you try something like this on a person with this type of issue. look up EHLERS DANLOSE, ROTERY JOINTS, with a touch of MARPHANS. If you get a chance to look at this, thank you. If not, well thank you flr the video anyways. The only part that has me scared is that the "scientific community" sees no medical need for this device. I for one see it differently though sr. R

I always preface my discussions with saying these are generalities and not specific advice. The bottomline is you need to do things that will not cause harm, and might benefit. Low grade traction will not cause harm as long as you do not get injured while performing the traction. The science is not definitive. For those with connective tissue diseases (the ones your mentioned), I would definitely call your doctor before initiating any traction. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you doctor.... Great information about traction... Yeah it's true.l Suffered disc herniation... I used traction for many months but no use. Now I walk regularly and I am doing yoga and back exercise... My healing process going on... So friends don't waste your money for traction.

Really balaji sir I'm also suffering from L4-L5 disc bulge so I have gone tractation one time and presently I'm in hospital for second time tractation but I didn't take rest when I have my first traction let's see what happens after my second traction I'm agree with yur openion regarding yoga so plz tell me how yu overcomed this

@@vijayhiremath9242 Dear Vijay don't worry about this...This L4 - L5 disc bulge is common for all... Now I am 35 years old... I suffered in this disc bulge past 12 years back... In that situation really I am also don't know what is happening to my back because I am an athlete and football player. So I was very confused and depressed. I want lot of hospitals.put no use. They give me a lot of pain killer tablets, useless traction method. It increased my pain only. Then I search myself. I am going to our traditional medicine method. I take lot of greens, vegetable. And anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric milk,orange and pineapples, badam,pista,walnuts. If you are a non vegetarian take small size fishes. Drink 3 litre water per day... And reduce your weight body 3 to 5 kg. But any kind of doctors don't tell those things. And I'll tell some exercise. Walk regularly normal walking 30 minutes. Reverse walking 30 minutes. In first week reverse walking very difficult to walk.bt it's very effective To heal disc bulge and back pain it's also strengthen your ur back. Do everyday pull ups and push ups. In this workout strengthen your core body. Don't do any Wight workouts. My yoga workout is cobra pose. don't drink and smoke if you do. That's all Vijay its heal it own... Do regularly and don't drive a bike for long time. I'll pray for you. Take care.

These is no hard science supporting any specific vitamin. However, in general, a balanced diet with less inflammatory foods is better. There are suggestions that red meat and too much protein can be inflammatory. Too much sugar can accelerate degeneration. Vitamins that are anti oxidant could be helpful. Herbs like turmeric, curry, peppers may have those properties.
