Had a buddy who very blantly cheated on a Minecraft Trade Server (Wall Hacks + Aimbot). We were on most of the night (him doing his thing, I think I was failing to do a jumping puzzle as all the classes). It took like, multiple days to a week of him doing this to get a VAC Ban. Crazy

Damn, I was actually hoping for some kind of scientific human behavioural analysis on why you always end up with like 5 AFK players in casual mode. Even when you started talking about a mod, I thought maybe it would result in an answer more interesting than people just leaving their computer to do something else and forgetting about it. I was pretty convinced on this until the bit where the mod would randomly "infect" people's computers, then it just started sounding like some old creepypasta.

He did mention other modders using It to test, It makes sense: a big part of coding Is All about reusing and repurposing preexisting assets, so It would be reasonable for other Mods to have some of the code from this One if the bot menù was that usefull. ..then the grey, overly dramatic screen arrived and the pun hit me. Goddamnit, i didn't realize what day It was three weeks ago. This Is the YT equivalent of stepping on an unexploded mine set there years ago.

I watched this after april fools and didn't check the date so I was genuinely hooked until the final moment, and it actually took a second for it to click. I was like, come on man finish the story!! and then I realized. Like, obviously it makes no sense that mods could cross server data and vac ban other people but your presentation was so captivating that I just didn't even think about it. Bravo, man.

Jesus I’ve seen many “April Fools” videos that were blatant like “Heavy Update, Captaincy Update, Ice Biome for SoT, Deleting my own channel, etc” and didn’t fall for any of them, because without even clicking the video I knew it was bait. But this however was just a masterpiece, and didn’t even realise it was an April fools til the end.

The problem with doing April Fool's content on an inherently silly channel is that every video feels like an April Fool's video. So, saying that, I'm impressed with how you went about it; a superficially serious video whose entirety can be seen as buildup to the punchline.

here i thought this was going to be a situation similar to a post detailing a "Quake 3 arena" mod, where all the players were bots with a learning A.I. designed to get as many kills and as few deaths as possible. the person left the server running for a few years, forgetting about it before finally logging on again. All the bots stood perfectly still, as far apart from one another as possible. If the developer killed one, all the other bots rushed in, killed him, and then returned to their previous locations to continue standing perfectly still. Almost got me thinking the afk phenomenon was something like that during those first few minutes there, but now my greatest shame is that i didn't realize it was a prank until the very end.
