Pooling occurs when the blood settles in the lower areas/pressure points in relation to the position of the body after death. This is due to the blood not being pumped around the body and settles according to gravity. Multiple areas of pooling occurs when a body is moved after death, so the blood resettles in accordance with the new position that the body is placed. From the monster's words, he was so angry with the poor lady that when he dumped her into the "grave", she was face down and he couldn't be bothered to turn her the right way up.34 years old, a coffin birth, a 3 year old and 4 year old little girls, dumped in crude oil. Dumped via being squeezed through a tiny hatch, of which that monster talks about with as much gravitas as how he likes his coffee. How his family openly say that they don't care about what he's done and seem to seriously believe that this has "happened to him" and that he should fight against the sentance to get out, is absolutely unbelievable. Look up the definition of evil in the dictionary, there is a picture of cw. I can't even make myself write the monster's name, he disgusts me so much.

I'm pretty sure that her blood alcohol level was proved to be only after death as a result of decomposition. This was stated by the coroner and da after the post mortem. Shannan had not been drinking alcohol prior to her murder.

Kari the Mortician did a video discussion of the autopsies. They actually did research to figure out why she had a BAC at all and explain the science behind it. It's a really good discussion if anyone wants to hear people talk about these issues that work in a similar field. It helped me personally to know how unusual this case was and the horrors aren't common. I also recently read them myself and had no idea how much Bella fought. It's pretty shocking for such a tiny person. RIP to this beautiful family

She also had bruising to the outer parts of the lips. She really did fight hard. Poor little thing. Makes me so sad 😪

It is very difficult to think about but you approached it respectfully. I think we all just want to know everything to just try to grasp why it happened. And seeing the footage of him eating while this is discussed really just was a representation of that monster. These murders were so horrific and he had so much hatred for them yet kept it relatively hidden. Acting like some calm guy yet he was seething underneath. It's scary. And she tried to keep it all intact. The ultimate betrayal is still unbelievable.

I believe it was the medical examiner, who said at the news conference, that the alcohol level didn't mean Shanann was drinking alcohol While she was alive. Some creators like to say Shanann was drinking while pregnant, which is b.s. Thank you for your videos & for always being respectful of the victims❤

She was nauseous and suffering migraines too. Her friends all said she had no alcohol on that trip.

I knew that before I became pregnant with my 4 children, thus I never touched any alcohol during pregnancy, nor while breast feeding either.

@Bmx Boy bc it was a few days. Time of death is not an exact science. They actually use science and the circumstances of the death to narrow it down. The time of year, weather, temperature, where the body is all come into play. Our bodies aren’t machines that behave one single way no matter what. I had gallstones and they caused pain and nausea. I passed them before an ultrasound could be arranged and the pain of that was terrible. A gallstone may have added to SW's pregnancy nausea, making it worse.

Coffin birth correction. It's the buildup of the decomposition gases that expel the fetus, not the relaxing of muscles. There have been cases of it happening and the fetus was expelled so far it was found at the feet of the mom when dug up. 😉

As im sure you are aware, there is a fair amount of KZbin creators along with their subs who believe the autopsy of SW proves she was not murdered until Tuesday night due to the rigor not being released in the small muscle groups. Ive been called a "paid troll" on one of these channels in particular when i referred this creator to another channel who i thought did a good job also in debunking this asinine theory. Putting out false information is irresponsible and downright cruel to the families. I love that you bring info based on facts. Great job on all your videos.

Atelectasis doesn't mean collapsed lung. It's simply a lack of air movement and he talked about both of them being this way. A collapsed lung is a pneumothorax.

I've been a nurse for 38 years, 31 of them in the ER and I've attended many autopsies. I just want to be sure the 2 meanings are separated. "Markedly atelectatic" is what the report said. Just a small correction. Shanann was recovered late August 15. Baumhover actually stayed at the tanks overnight so that the children wouldn't be alone out there, till the next day when they could be recovered from the tanks. My heart was really touched by that. Baumhover was shattered by what he witnessed, when the babies were taken from the tanks, and it sickened me to hear Twatts whining in that recordered convo that they "gave him pizza after he gave them what they wanted." As IF anyone wanted to hear his children were floating in oil. OMG.

I feel you were extremely respectful while discussing Shanann's autopsy. Amazing how he can calmly eat pizza after talking with Tammy and Coder. I apologize as I don't recall if he ate before telling them where the bodies were or not. Either way, it's amazing how he can calmly eat after what he did. Even when he stay with the Thayer's on Tuesday night, he ate pizza like he didn't have a concern about where Shanann, Bella, CeCe and Nico were. On one hand, I hope the Thayer's moved out of that house. But, on the flip side, it would be sad to move if Shanann and the girl's spent a lot of time there especially playing with their little girl who was friends with Bella and CeCe. I think I would still move. The thought of CW having slept there after killing your best friend is revolting.

Later, CW denied giving her oxy before the murder, because he would have denied it anyway if he'd known it hadn't been shown at autopsy.

@Stephanie Hunter, she had alcohol from the decomposition process, not because she was drinking before death. This is explained in the video.

For ALL who try and say Shannan was drunk or she drunk all the time!! I no for a FACT SHANANN didn't drink ALL THE TIME SHE Would have a glass of wine from time to time on Holliday's or when she hosted a party and that was only if her party guest asked for a glass and there's nothing Wrong with having a glass every now and then!! Most Italian people keep wine always just for SPECIAL OCCASION or at the end of a hard day!! Shanann would of never ever done anything that would harm her kids ever so for people to think she was drinking while pregnant is obsered bc she wouldn't even take/use some of the Thrive until she talked to her Dr. Thank You For making it clear she wasn't drunk!!

There's never a defense team present at an autopsy. Think about all of the murders that occur on a daily basis... do you think they wait around for a suspect and the hiring of a legal team and then they do the autopsy? That's not the way it works in the U.S. I can tell you that for sure.

What?? The defense is never present at an autopsy. The judge even said at the first court appearance he wasn't going to make an exception.

@@carribishop 100% correct Carri. I'm so sick of hearing the CW apologists using the defense not being present at the autopsies or they weren't given 48 hrs notice as some kind of cover up. It's all addressed in the first court appearance.
