I simply bought some 3 core .50mm cable, cut the cable and added about 3 MTRS to bring it inside my caravan , very easy to do took me 20 mjnutes , but I'm sure there's one out the somewhere .

Could you tell me what is F5:Temperature compensation for please? What does it do? When would I use it? Could you explain the F7:Oil pump power setting please? Does this change the volume being pumped, or is it a selection made to select which pump you have connected to the heater? What is En07:Pump oil enable? Thank you

It alters the in built temperature room sensor so for example it's showing your room is 23 degrees but you got a proper thermo that shows it's really 21 then you set it to -2 then it will be allegedly correct.

@@hcaloryofficial the “other diesel heaters” I am referring to are not Hcalory. These are ones I have installed previously on other projects using the “blue style” controller which has a 12v or 24v setting. I purchased the model in this video most recently for my latest project and I plan to use a 24 volt system. Can I use 24v on this model or will I need a voltage reducer.

No such place in these I’ve heard of. They used the term “smart” a little loosely in this case.

@@TheMajictechPity its not there like the standard Chinese heaters have with code 1688. These 2kw heaters are set to 1.5hz and about 2300rpm lowest setting from factory . They can be manually tuned lower once running and up to temp then turned tuned down while running to run clean and hot at 0.8hz 1700-1800rpm more suited to background heating and using much less fuel they just struggle to start up at the lower setting so turn setting back up to factory for starting. 👍

Highland mode operation Press and hold "*" + "ok" keys at the same time for 2s to enter plateau mode, and the icon "mountain peak" will show to start plateau mode. In the plateau mode, the wind and oil ratio is reduced to adapt to the lack of oxygen in the plateau, and then press and hold "*" + "ok" key for 2s to exit the plateau mode. Engineering mode En06 setting is for altitude, but there is no way to change this. The logical way would be pressing the wheel like when entering the correct time in the basic settings (F0). But En06 just stays at sea level, unable to change it

It’s actually on f8 now. These guys don’t give a damn until their sales plummet. Nothing on this heater works as it should. Hcalory has the same garbage controllers now. They suck. . . . They won’t even throttle up enough to properly warm a small space.

So to me, these things don’t throttle up enough in temperature mode. The space I heat is well insulated but when it’s really cold the damned thing never gets to the temperature I want, (a comfortable temperature) it’s always about 4-6 degrees colder due to not running fast enough. So with that said, the only cure is to turn it about 5-6 degrees higher than your desired temp, so it will speed up enough, this totally negates the auto shut down and restart function when I’ve gone to work and the sun comes up. My poor doggies hate this heater as well as I. Smart setting 😅more like idiotic setting. . . . .

Yep smart setting does not work it sucks, I use mine in level mode only, to be honest it works excellent heating a static caravan with a room size of 3.6 X 6 MTRS
