@Neneko101Күн бұрын
I hear people ask a lot "What is a Rogue's roll in trios?" I've played Rogue since PT1 and from what I've noticed he's never really been good at any of the main three rolls, so he falls into the Disrupter class. It's a type of class that you /want/ the other team to know you have. If they know there's a Rogue, they're going to break formation and constantly be checking areas or angles that any other class can't access, forcing them to panic. When they lose focus and start swinging at the darkness, your team can start picking them off or pushing. Regardless if you're already in their backline or not, they /think/ you're behind them, and that right there is what causes them to lose. Sometimes you don't even need to do anything because their backline is too busy fighting ghosts, you can just run in and get a pick.

@@hunnedk I've watched you and other high APM Rogues for awhile and I can safely say that you have probably one of the best/easiest to follow guides on how to play this class. It's nice to see someone sit back and explain things in a way newer players can understand, because I know picking a super squishy class can be a bit discouraging for people who die a lot because of it. Each class in this game has multiple templates they can use to have different experiences and I think you encapsulate it pretty well showing that Rogue isn't just a loot goblin, but a force to be reckoned with if played at their absolute peak. Keep up the good work, and shank those pesky wizards.

I've always been interesting in the concept of a Rogue without Hide. Would you say it is possible to play it without actively crippling yourself in solos?
@hunnedk22 сағат бұрын
you can, in fact at some point last wipe meta was to run a PDR no hide rogue build. But it mostly relied on opponents underestimating you

“Ironmace isn’t creative enough yet for rogue to be a support role”. Imagine they gave rogue the ability to either give their invisibility to another single player like wizard or they get the ability to hide an entire party like bard?

Curious why you choose to go so much into move speed as opposed to more health/action speed. Usually I try to hit 105% move speed and find that to be enough. Typically this means adventurer boots with add move speed and electing for different rings other than quickness. Is it personal preference or is there a reason you think move speed might be better?
@hunnedkКүн бұрын
Movespeed opens up options for a rogue, which is super helpful for offensive maneuvers but also helps survive encounters. I think almost every clip shows how movespeed allowed me to be in the right spot at the right time AND then allowed me to escape as well.
@aidanbecker9758Күн бұрын
@@hunnedk Especially the escaping afterwards part. Rogues can't stick around if even a single person knows exactly where they are. So they either kill one and need to leave FAST, or they fail and need to leave even faster. A bit more hp or damage won't save you if you have a buffed barb chasing you, but being ms cap guarantees they can't catch you in a straight chase

I couldn't really see how rogue was really usefull in any way there, i feel like any other class would be much better for your team, sometimes you can make a play, but seems really inconsistent and feels like depends more about the enemy knowledge than your own skills, I had the feeling any other class would help much more in mutiple situations, this video convinced me a bit more not to want rogues in my party when playing trios
