Literally everyone's been using it since the open beta. It's only useful if you're out of ammo or your weapon isn't long-range. Yeah it looks kinda weird, but I'm strongly against any movement nerfs considering that ranged weapons in this game are an absolute meta (dmr's, ar's etc).

I think they patched the glitch to launch a player upwards with a slingshot effect that the zipline had in the beta. It was patched day 1 I believe or very soon after launch. Along with the canister grapple hook

I have been doing this since seasons 1. Another thing is on the crane's you can use the zipline from anyside(then they patched it) but after it still works just you got reconnect over and over.

what, they didnt patch that. i still use the seoul crane zip to jump on to the hospital roof without having to spam reattach or having to go to the top of the crane. and the same with the monaco crane in the build site. you can zip up the crane from the side.

@@Jinko_ i have a bunch of friends that have grinded diamonds every season and ive never seen them do zipline snakes even though they are very sweaty. this then also mean that they havent seen people do this in their games either if they didnt pick up this neat movement tech themselves from opponents.

ive been jumping off and reattaching to zipline from the first time i played in season 1 kinda like at 3:10 but without looking up. at first i thought it was faster to zipline like that, it wasnt, but i kept doing it because it isnt slower either and maybe it's harder to hit me. plus i dont like staying still irl so im always spamming something (edge slides, zipline reattach, inspects, scroll wheel etc). somehow it never occurred to me to snake on a zipline, i have 500 hours. and i dont think ive seen anyone else snake either.

Is it better than just shooting them, and is it possible to shoot while you are doing this. Does shooting them sort of do the same thing? If the goal is to survive are you just better of shooting them? Unless you dont have bullets but even then you cant reload your gun while doing this? Unless you are melle in that case this might be useful because you arent bound to reloads. What about going up with ziplines is it worse because you are losing more momentum basically making it useless? Straight ziplines arent used in fights but they might using thrm in fights because of this.

Yeah couldn’t get into this game at first because they nerfed all of the closed beta movement and made the game feel extremely sluggish, also after open beta they changed momentum of slides with the friction, but when stuff evolves I just always hope they won’t remove stuff like this

Here we go. More tech only M&K players can do causing the game to get divided. Edit: Tried to do it on console and pc controller. It is kinda possible. But much much much slower to the point that it's better to just shoot.

apex' movement tech was cancer and a crutch by people who don't know how to play a game for fun. if it has made its way into the finals it should be nerfed as soon as possible. Finals is a game about map knowledge and practicality, not about abilities and how to superficially abuse them. Ranked players will tell you otherwise but that's only because they're playing as a fresh new facade to throw the same experience of other FPSes into, Finals has always turned for the better when updated with the core of the game in mind (*cough*S3vsS4*cough*)

I do like some of Apex' movement techs but the more advanced ones that the average player will never master create such an unfair skill gap that leads to a terrible experience... I definitely don't want it in THE FINALS.

@@Jinko_ Angled jump pads are the main reason the plug meta can exist at top levels. Most players will never learn how to optimize to the point they can deposit one cashbox and rush to the other one to deposit both and get the bonus.
