All around great video! I love brunch so I'm definitely adding the brunch spot to my list of places to eat. I like that you guys show us a variety of places to visit and take people's budgets into account. Eating at the Don Cesar and Spinners would be a nice treat (margaritas are my drink of choice so I would go to Spinner's for the margarita alone!) but it's not something I personally would be able to do all the time (goals, though!). I started watching this on a super dreary day so I'm totally living vicariously through you guys being out in the sun. I don't get out much in the winter time here. I feel like I would be a lot more active if I lived in sunny, beautiful St. Pete. I would also never run out of things to do! I loved this video!

Spinner's is awesome! Haven't been in a while but can't beat the food or views- especially if celebrating a special day. Next time in St Pete, def want to find Upham Beach. We also sued to go to Sea Critters for dinner I think near or in Pass-A-Grille - even boats would pull up and folks would come in to get food and drinks. It was always a great time.

While we now live on the east coast of Florida near St Augustine we used to call St Pete home. In fact, 38 years ago we were engaged at what used to be the rotating Hilton (Spinners) and had our wedding reception at the Dolphin. Additionally, back in 1985 we caught Tom Petty playing from the rooftop of The Don while enjoying a sunny Sunday beach day. I’d love to go back and actually STAY overnight at the Don Cesar. And yes, one of our 2 favorite Pinellas County beaches are Pass-A-Grill and Upham. Your great video was beautifully nostalgic and makes me want to plan a visit!

We LOVE St. Pete Beach! We stayed at the Bellwether Beach Resort and highly recommend the place. Spinners was great (the hotel on top of the Bellwether). Next time I think we're going to give the Don Cesar a try while we look for the perfect vacation home.

Used to live down in Pinellas Point, moving back to St. Pete Beach in 2025. Woody's Waterfront, Bongo's and Larry's Ice cream (every day!!!) are always our go-to. Used to take our kids to the Secret Garden once a week. What no slide rides in front of the TradeWinds???

We did the giant inflatable slide ride when we staid at the Tradewinds a few years back. We were the only adults on it, but it was still fun! Congrats on moving back to St. Pete Beach. We hope Bongos will be back up and running by the time you get there. We're pretty sure Larry's already is. And Woody's is definitely open (in fact we're going there later today!) Maybe we'll see ya there sometime.

We come to St Pete beach and stay at the Bellwether formerly Grand Plaza we love it there Some of our fav places to eat are Gigi's,Mad Fish and Shells.

It was kinda surreal to see you guys go to so many of the same places we love in St Pete Beach, both the well-known landmarks and the local haunts. Glad you guys found Willy's (how is that cheap?!), Larry's (just the best - end of) and Frog Pond. La Croisette across the street is also a great breakfast if you haven't been already. I really want to check out the 11th Floor on my next visit (we have a condo on Blind Pass Road). I'd also recommend Sea Hags for their happy hour, and strolling from the beach at Caddy's into John's Pass Village after sunset - though that is a bit of a walk! Love the channel :)

We were really torn on whether we should visit La Croisette or Frog Pond in the video. We have yet to visit La Croisette, but have always heard great things about it! Thank you 💕 You will be right off of the Pinellas Trail! We'd recommend riding the trail for something active. You will be close to Harbor Master for a Tiki Bar experience. If you head out to Madeira Beach (which will be the closest beach to where you are staying) we recommend... Saltwater Hippie for live music, Dockside Dave's for a meal and the rooftop bar at Cambria for drinks at sunset.

@@theterrytrailertrash YW! Hmm i know there are good spots, but we haven't explored many in this area. All of our kayak/paddling spots are further south in the Sarasota area. We would suggest researching paddling from the Dunedin Causeway to Caladesi Island.

In 2023 we parked our car close to a SunRunner's stop , rode the SunRunner to St Pete Beach stay there and later walked to Pass-a-grill to watch the sunset after that we took the Freebee to get the SunRunner again back our car. All of that was free. We had a drink and a meal at Pass-a-grill. This year we are planning on doing the same, only that we'll pay the SunRunner.

You have to check out William Dean's chocolates in Belleair Bluffs! They were in the movie The Hunger Games. Pricey but sooo good ! I want to come to ALL the markets. I miss that Old Florida vibe ! Of course I lived on Madeira Beach when there were just a few mom and pop hotels on the beach and none of the large condos . The sunset ! OMG !!! You guys are killing me !! Digging out in Buffalo !

Honestly we'd probably recommend staying somewhere in between the two. Both downtown and the beaches can get pretty pricey, but you can find some really affordable stays in between. We'd recommend checking AirBNB's that are close to the Sunrunner Trolley Route (1st Avenue N. and 1st Avenue S.) This way, you'll have easy and very inexpensive access to both the beaches and downtown. We hope this helps!

Thanks so much! We're glad to hear you enjoy the videos. We never notice the red tide where we live in St. Pete, but we are a few miles from the beach and a mile or so from the bay. We definitely have been bothered by the red tide when we've gone to the beach though. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. We do swim at the beach, but not usually between November and April (too cold).

She was thinking about renting a car, but I was thinking your video shows the Sun Runner and that might be more convenient (and cheaper😂). Between the Sunrunner, the Free Beach Ride, and the Freebie, there are plenty of options to get around the island without renting a car. It will likely save quite a bit of money over renting a car and you also don't have to worry about parking. We hope your wife and daughter have a great time!

We had planned on going to Spinners last year but upon viewing the menu prices online we altered our plans. Mainly because we'd already stopped by a higher end establishment the night before. That view looks spectacular though so we'll definitely have to see about getting there this year or next.

That's totally understandable. We normally would not eat had more than one higher end restaurant on one vacation either. That being said, the food was good, and we think the view makes it all worth it, especially if you book your dinner during sunset!

Love your videos since I love Florida. I would rather see more scenes from the beaches or other places to visit around the beaches rather than restaurants. I feel like people in general eat way too much and when I go on vacation, I go for the beautiful beaches and sightseeing, and not for the restaurants. A lot of times we will stay in a VRBO and that way I can make most of my meals. Since most of the restaurants have such high calorie unhealthy foods.

If you've got a generous budget there are spots like Bellwether and the Don Cesar. If you are looking for an older resort experience then there are options like the Bon-Aire Resort. Also there are a variety of rentals to choose from though Resort Rentals!
