BE AWARE THAT YOU CAN NOT PAIR THE ORIGINAL UE BOOM WITH THE NEW UE BOOM 2 .FOR SOME REASON THE MAKERS OF THIS PRODUCT HAVE DECIDED NOT TO MAKE THEM COMPATIBLE. I WILL BE POSTING THIS ON AS MANY SOCIAL MEDIA SITES AS POSSIBLE UNTIL I RECEIVE FEED BACK FROM ULTIMATE EARS

......... I have 2 new UE Megaboom and have not been able to pair as a stereo combo or double up. UE App does not work on brand new iPhone 7 plus. All products brand-new as of Nov 2016. I am going to Target to try to find out what is going on since I bought my UE Megaboom speakers there online. Also note you can custom name each speaker (Left and Right) on a macbook pro, but not on an iPhone7 +. I bought one Red UE and one Black UE and I relabeled them using my MacBook Pro laptop blue tooth preferences. Hope to get back to you and tell you the results. I am happy with the UE Megaboom sound, but not as good sounding as the Beat Pill XL which was recalled due to fire hazard (I decided to keep the Beats Pill XL because it is the best Bluetooth speaker I have ever heard an never seems to get hot at all when charging). Beats Pill XL has much deeper bass.
