Such a fabulous museum, I was there in 2003 with several co-workers, we were training at the Amtrak facility in Wilmington as student engineers for a seven week period. One weekend, 4 of us hoped on a train, went to Baltimore to see the museum, rode light rail, had a nice lunch, we were there days before the roof caved in, talk about good timing as had we waited a week we would have been out of luck. I hope to return to see visit the museum again, to see all that’s new abs the repairs to the roundhouse. Thank you for sharing your video.

Tremendous pride knowing this national transportation treasure started here in Baltimore. My family rode the Royal Blue to Cincinnati Ohio all throughout our days until the sad day of its closing.

So glad they decided to repair instead of outsourcing this national treasure. I remember when the roof collapsed, damn shame but looks like new now. Hope to come soon and see.

My son was born at St Agnes hospital in Baltimore maybe one day we can return and do some volunteer work

www.borail.org/3802.aspx if you drive behind the museum on S. Arlington St. you can see it parked back there. Sometimes it is the locomotive they use for their Sunday 1pm train rides.
