I am Si Kang Chi and I am Singaporean. I am astonished to see the tremendous Chinese infrastructure. Completely insane and impossible to beat by any standards. All buildings you see in Shanghai are architectural miracles which are perhaps impossible to replicate. The roads and bridges are of Completely another level. Having been to the US a couple of times, I can say that, China is a Completely different planet in itself. Two decades ago everyone had a notion that China replicates everything made by other nations, but that's not true. It seems the other way around because the Chinese were giving importance to ensure that their products reach every corner of the world but they didn't think much about advertising and marketing their products. As a result, the west replicated the Chinese products and even advertised them heavily on mass media around the world. And when Chinese products reached their neighbourhoods, immediately they started saying that the Chinese are replicating their own products and penetrating the western markets. Such was the propaganda indoctrinated by the Western countries to counter Chinese industrial dominance on the world stage. The quality of any product made in China can be compared to the highest quality standards.

Actually you were right. China was a gigantic slum 45 years ago. Houses in poorer rural area were mostly built with hardened soil and sands (夯土) and dried grass. I just watched your video on the 1000 trees and 400 steps design and I am now watching this video on this out-of-this-world library. This is late 21st century architecture with beautiful aesthetics in both cases. This is modern China building on a 4000 years old culture. Now I understand why the U.S. does not like China. The U.S. is jealous of what China has achieved in only 40 years. There is not a single city in the U.S. that has anything remotely close to that. All the U.S. does is engage in 19th century foreign policy and war - nonstop war!

Whats the point of having a big library when the Internet and external information is heavily Censored in China? People only get to read what the CCP wants them to read. The fancy buildings are just a facade, of a regime enslaving the chinese minds. Ask any chinese studying abroad in private and they will tell you the ugly truth of China.

@@josealfredogonzalez2023nah...if u do some research about china, u will find out china defintely is not a capitalist country. its a hybrid of capitalism and socialism with its root still firmly built on socialism. for one, china doesnt allow land ownership at all. tell me which capitalist country does that? when u buy a real property in urban china, u only own the structure on the land. and the land itself is leased to u for 40 or 70 yrs. as for rural china, ur house and land cant be sold in the market at all. as a rural resident, when u want to move to another place, u have to return ur house and land back to the villiage government. for two, there are still 40% of chinese economy is strictly state-owned. sectors such as telecom, oil, gas, water, infrastructure building, transportation, banking, insurance, healthcare......are almost monopolized by state-owned companies. for three, china still have soviet style "directive economy". chinese central govt has always laid out state-level-5-year-plan since 1950s. as of now, china is in its 14th consecutive national 5-year-plan period. these 5-year-plans are extremely crucial to chinese economy developments. it provides a fundamental direction, guidence, planning for how china will develop in the next 5 yrs. for four, richer chinese provinces & cities have to adopt several poorer chinese provinces & cities by sending financial, personnel, material supports to adopted poorer provinces, cities, counties, villiages....just so richer ptovinces can lift poorer provinces out of proverty.
