Hey Chris! Just subscribed, the new ride in Thomas Land is going to be a log flume. And the reason Maelstrom was closed is because one of the bolts were loose at the top of the ride. 😮

That wasn’t the reason Maelstrom was closed. If it was a loose bolt it would have been replaced very quickly.

I’m there in a few weeks. Looking forward to trying the wave and much though I doubt it’ll be ready I’d love to get on the new intamin lift and launch coaster 😀

Fun fact for you, Ben 10 (as it used to be called) was the first Junior Boomerang in the world when it opened in 2011

Good question. I think we were just unlucky on our visit. It had been running at the start of the season so hopefully it’ll be running soon if it’s not already reopened.
