Explore "In Being Double" with Tumelo Nwanma and John Richey

Our new film spotlights "In Being Double," a recent exhibition of artworks by Pace's international staff members presented at our New York gallery. It features a conversation between the curators of the 2023 staff show-Tumelo Nwanma (Gallery Coordinator) and John Richey (Senior Registrar)-who discuss the themes and concepts at the center of the presentation. Explorations of selfhood-and negotiations between interior and exterior selves-cut across the paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints, drawings, and films featured in "In Being Double," creating a portrait of the creatives, activists, and intellectuals in the gallery’s community. An online iteration of the exhibition continues through September 9.
