Melieha is city on the north side of Malta overlooking Melieha(Ghadira)Bay(Beach).We visited central square with Parish Church,Shrine of Lady of Grotto and several view points.We walked along central and traditional sde streets until the bottom of the hill and Ghadira Bay.

I can definitely say the walk from the beach back up the hill is awful in the summer😅

What is it with all them food outlets putting sun beds and umbrellas on the public beach ??? They leave very little room to put ones own umbrella up and airbed down to lay on.

Well it is a good point.I think the reason is generally the small number of beaches in Malta compared to the big number of tourists.Thats why in summer I go to Crete Greece.

@@edojanic2942 sandy beaches in Malta, are Paradise Bay, Armier Bay Beach, Little Armier Beach, White Tower Bay Beach, Mellieha Beach, Golden Bay Beach, Ghajn Tuffeha Bay Beach, Gnejna Bay Beach, Pretty Bay Beach, Balluta Bay Beach, St George's Bay Beach, Bugibba Perched Beach, Xemxija Bay , Fekruna Bay Beach , Imiebah Beach and many safe places to swim from the flat sand stone bay's. Plenty of safe sandy beaches to swim from but there's people that take advantage of the tourists in trying to claim a part on the beach is private when it's not. Greece and it's Island's are equally as guilty as is Spain.
