Explore Royal Deeside GeoTour: Snow GC5HZV5

Dinnet is the location of the Snow geocache on the Explore Royal Deeside GeoTour, which stretches through Aberdeenshire's Dee valley. The cache ID is GC5HZV5.
After a short drive west from Dinnet to Ballater, a road leads south into Glen Muick and the beauty of the eastern Cairngorms. At the Spittal of Glen Muick the vista opens to reveal Loch Muick and the Munros of Lochnagar and Broad Cairn. There is a circular walking route round Loch Muick, while many hills can be climbed in the area. Lochnagar was also the subject of the children's book The Old Man of Lochnagar written by Prince Charles.
