Clarification... The green sauce is not sour, the correct thing is: "acidic". the same for a lime.

The chilaquiles torta lacked the shredded chicken. Just sayin’.
@giancarlovergontti95362 жыл бұрын
The shredded chicken breast or shredded beef is regularly served with Chilaquiles as a dish (on a plate). It is very rare you will find it in a 'Guajolta'. Which the the name of this type of Sub/Sanwich. I believe is the most inexpensive breakfast in Mexico City. Mostly offered by street vendors. And in order to keep its extremely cheap price. Nothing else is added. Just Bolillo bread, white cheese and Chilaquiles. Either on green or red salsa.
@RodrigoVargas722 жыл бұрын
@@giancarlovergontti9536 sorry to disagree. Guajolota is made with tamales, not chilaquiles. And the chilaquiles torta I usually buy in 3 different spots always have chicken.

*Great video but **01:05** "think of this as our version of coffee and donuts..." nope! cultures are unique and no comparison at all, american food summarizes to a minimum of items in the menu (mostly burgers and fries and shakes) vs Mexican food... endless possibilities; no comparison!*

Those green chilaquiles are garbage! Calling them chilaquiles is using that name loosely. Like calling a $1 burger a Kobe beef steak. And then using them for a filling for a torta is garbage again. In the USA that would be called a potato chip sandwich. Something only trashy people eat.
