I lived in cfb Kingston a child 1969 I came back to visit 2017 I wanted to visted RMC for memriouus my mom worked there back then em no visitor allowed no wonder

@@MarcDemmon Back then there was RMC, CMR in Quebec and Royal Roads in BC. Then in the 90's with budget cuts they closed both CMR and Royal Roads. Then in 2000's they reopened CMR again.

Not an issue. As long as they can see you're enrolled in the necessary courses, they'll consider an offer.

You can also pay tuition to attend if you want to avoid serving the 5 mandatory years and serve in a reserve unit instead. Most families of the Canadian Establishment pick this route for their sons and daughters !

We get paid enough to cover rent (~100$ for a double room and 200$ for a single one) and we pay for the food ~680$. After all that I am still left with more that 1200$ a month for all of my other personal expenses! Its really worth it!

@@buckshot9521 Depends on the trade you're getting into. If you want to be a doctor, dentist, lawyer etc... then the option might only be ROTP at a civilian universities, but they won't have any of the combat arms trades like infantry, armor, artillery etc...

I've received offers from them. If I can get one, their standards are damn low lmao. Jokes aside, the internet definitely blows it out of proportion. It's far from the cutthroat prestigious school that forum posts and people on Quora make it out to be. If you're interested and have the prerequisites it's worth throwing your name in the hat.
