Nice, informative watch! Beautiful park, but the only time I've ever been there was during a severe drought many years back, and there was NO water flowing. Am I correct in remembering that that's the place where a ranger told me the creek resurfaces about a mile or so downstream? I don't get close to spiders, either, except maybe with a shotgun! LOL What we all call Banana Spiders is actually a Golden Orb Weaver. Drilling fluids back in the early 1900's weren't the chemical cocktails they are today...drilling mud was basically just that; mud! Mud weight then, as it still is now, is adjusted by adding barite to increase the weight per gallon, which is basically granite crushed talcum powder fine, or by adding liquid (water back then, synthetic oil now) to thin it and decrease the weight per gallon. Thanks for taking us along on this, Keith, and Stay Safe!

Not sure about that creek you're referring to.. the little one in here isn't much more than what we always called a branch. I know the creek over at Marianna Caverns State Park goes underground and later resurfaces, maybe thats the one 🤔.. thanks for the comment & watching🌞🌴🖐️

@@EarthTrips Probably almost certainly Marianna Caverns, then...I knew it was somewhere down there, but it's well out of my usual stomping grounds! Stay Safe!

It is a nice park! We've paid our fair share of entrance fees, too 😂
