Loved your tour! My father's ancestors were the House of Munster, the McCarty line that built the Rock of Cashel and 27 others. I so hope to one day see it in person.

It's worth a trip. The Castle itself is impressive but, the surrounding countryside is something to truly explore.

5th or 6th century castle and cathedral, its well preserved given the long history. Chicken and fries look yum. Thanks for sharing the information.
