Beautiful scenery but it's scary to think about the crazy superstitious mentality the settlers had !! The food being reviewed looks good, but I've never had any of it so i can't really comment.

It was a crazy time for sure. It was also how much it caught on since the witch trials were already winding down in Europe by then and the rest of the US, while having witch trials, was never at the level of insanity that took over Salem.

So much fun Ben! I’m sure you’ll be back this way. Before I moved up the coast, Portland was my big hang. Other food places worth a look: Gritty’s, Eventide Oyster Company, Novare Res, Duckfat, The Porthole. Food scene is crazy in Portland. P.S. Was at Leary’s today and had a Gunner’s Daughter. Yum!

First of all, thaks for visiting our city, but here are a few things to point out: on the name, you accent the syllable La (Lárissa) and not ri. Also, it's not really a college town. The reason there are so many young people outside (in contrast to Athens) is that Larissa is simply a lot safer. One last thing: the Fortress Square is that place in general on the top of the hill and not the restaurant Frourio (Φρούριο) which indeed means fortress. The ice cream bar and the Mexican aperitif bar on the entrance are all part of the restaurant, as is this whole place with the tables.
