Love the setup man. It looks sensational. Quick tip for the travel oven which I did with mine. They actually ideally run better at 14v (13.8v) rather than 12v (it’ll still work at 12v anyways). You can buy a little voltage converter which turns your 12v to 15v and it no joke cooks your stuff twice as quick (it does use more amps however if you do the math you run the whole thing for less time so ends up using less power overall). Personally best $40 upgrade I did to my travel oven. In saying all this if you are running while driving and have the dc dc going that’ll boost up the voltage and work the exact same, the voltage converter is more so if you are already at camp. Keen for all the videos and stuff to come of the travels and build

Just got back from my trip, loved the all spark red light LED bar that I saw on your channel. Zero bugs, the yellow camping light attracted more bugs with 10% the light output !!

I got one of those spider stove too as my back-up stove for the same reasons you've pointed out - ie. full size stove but packs really small. I got mine online which is half the price as the Campmaster version. But it looks almost identifical I wouldn't be surprised if they were made from the same factory.

Since upgrading to a allspark lithium battery setup i can now run a 2000w inverter for thoes kinda cooking items i love my air fryer at home, i think the only fault mates have found with induction cooktops is if its accidently left out overnight it may get too cold to work as cam from wild touring found out with his, looking forward to more vids as i love that area ❤❤

Butanes are good, all i use now. Buuut they don't like the cold weather. Little trick i was told, in cold weather keep the cannisters wrapped in towel/blanket/bedding. I haven't been in cold enough weather to see if actual cooking is affected. Looks like a great compact stove, will have to keep my eye out for one or two.

I can confirm, below 10°C their performance starts to noticeably drop, and they're pretty much useless below 5°C. I don't know how it would work with the little compact unit he's shown us here, but on the standard butane cookers, I have seen people use a bit of aluminium or steel sheet metal (even just a piece of a drink can) under the burner into the gas can's compartment, to conduct some heat from the burner into the can in order to keep it warm enough. I don't know how well just wrapping it in something would work, the problem is that as the cans empty, the internal temperature drops as the pressure drops and the liquid converts to a gas, so they really need to have heat added to the cans to keep the internal temperature up.

Travel buddy door sucks. The latch is so much better, plus the glass window. If tb ever update their design it might improve but the other products on the market outclass it now for less.
