I changed my technique of rather flying, I glide. Like Magneto's X-Men movie scene where he breaks out of his glass prison. I can control how fast or steady I can travel without the faulty flying technique

I lucid dremt last night in only 3 minutes!!! All I watched was one video where it explains the WBTB method where you set an alarm for early in the morning and then go back to sleep whilst thinking "I will lucid dream". I didnt even plan it last night. My mums alarm woke me up (i am using my mums account), so I decided to try and reality shift using the raven method. I got so close but I didnt shift. I then remembered about the video that I watched and decided to try to lucid dream. The video said that it is not likely to succeed the first time, but I didnt care, soooooo.... I laid down and tucked myself in. I laid on my side and relaxed. I closed my eyes and kept thinking in my head " I will lucid dream", then after about 30 seconds I changed it to " lucid dream" the last thing I remember was, that I was In a farmy kind of playground. I normally try to imagine myself on a roller coaster until i can feel the motion and see ahead. When I’m on it long enough, i try to imagine the roller car fly off the rails into a different place like into a city or wherever i want to go. It works most of the time.

I accidentally almost did WILD twice last night because I woke up at 9 at night after going to bed at 5 in the afternoon. Sleep paralysis was kinda freaky and it felt like I just started floating in a void then I started moving on accident

I've had many experiences with that floating void feeling, most of the time it happened when I tried to go back to bed after 3 or 4 hours of sleep. During these times I wasn't even attempting to have a lucid dream.

I think you experienced the dark void where everything turns black around you and to fix that you just need to imagine being in a high speed train thats going to another dream and focus until a new dream comes on then just make sure you dont get the void again

Damn. Today I had a lucid dream, without attempting to get one! It was just like that: I kinda fell down but then floated in a way so I knew I was dreaming and did that again and yes: I was dreaming! Instantly my dream felt way more "immersive" and real, bit sadly it didn't helt so long. But it was an amazing experience! I also tried to put my finger trough my hand, it didn't work, but my hand was kinda glitchy so I knew that I was dreaming! Thanks for your tips and keep uploading helpful videos!

method if you live with others and cant set alarm and don't have headphones: drink lots of water before bed you will naturally wake up to use the bathroom depending on what technique you use it could be a bad or good thing for you to go to the bathroom also don't use this method if you are bed wetter

Thank you very much for all these informative videos! I started about a month and a half ago with lucid dreaming and followed all of your tips and tricks. Now I have lucid dreams almost every night. I used SSILD with WBTB combined and got very good results. I will now practice FILD and WILD for an even higher success rate. Furthermore, the dream journal increased my dream recall a lot and made my dreams feel much more vivid. This is all thanks to your videos! Keep making these great videos =)

@@_hollow_benefitcookiebatch5228 I am reading some of my dreams occasionally, but not every day. I just read until I remember what happened in the dream and then jump to the next one. After a few days, I had a lucid dream, after a week I started to get them more frequently. Then about 2-3 weeks in I got a lot of them (when I started using SSILD ) :D Waking up in REM sleep is also one of the most important steps to become lucid in a dream I think. So if you didn't have lots of success yet you should maybe try to set an alarm for about 5 -6 AM(depending on when you got to bed for me it's about 11PM) and then go back to sleep. Yeah, I think my two main problems when in comes to lucid dreaming is that my sleep schedule is terrible, and I really need to sort it out - if not for the purpose of lucid dreaming then at least for the purpose of general wellbeing - and that I either rarely wake up from a dream or don't remember it long enough to write down.

I'm going to try ssild and mild tonight! Can't wait!!! If it works, I might practice a lot of lucid dreaming powers: summoning objects, people, moving objects, teleportation, changing appearance. Then onto the harder stuff. Flying, magic spells, constructing more elaborate things ( buildings, islands), personalise my lucid dream by a blink of an eye. Also! Killer reality check idea: whenever something I expect was going to happen, happens. I pinch my nose and breath in as hard I can.

Today I actually did the WBTB technique, but I did it at 8 AM because I wasn't ready to wake up yet. I had rolled over a few times and had opened my eyes, but then I just lay down really still and forgot to think about anything and directly entered a dream. It was short, and not really 'lucid' even though I knew I was dreaming, I just didn't really acknowledge it, but I still did it. I feel like there's some potential here though.

Number 1.. meditation. It makes every technique vastly easier and makes staying lucid easier to. Sometimes meditation alone is enough to lucid dream. Thats how good it is.

I have used FILD for the first time and got into sleep paralysis and was frightened. I didn't use it any longer. After that, I used a technique (I forgot the name, but now used to it) where you need to repeat cycles (vision, hearing and physical touch etc.) that worked for me, but not on the first day. First day, I woke up on alarm but couldn't sleep back and daylight appeared and I slept the next day. But this time it worked fine.

Every time I start to have a nightmare my subconscious mind does a reality check, I'm not good at controlling the dream so I close my eyes and wake up if it gets too bad

I cant do this technique because every time I start moving my fingers I get super relaxed but I can't fall asleep on my back and then I end up giving up, rolling over and falling asleep on my side.

I m trying for like a week and i didn t have it yet :( Edit: last night after that coment i had my first lucid dream it lasted some mins cuz it s my first and couldnt controll anything and when wanted to do smoething i tryed to fly but i couldn t and in seconds after trying to fly everything fade away and i woke up An othet edit xd : the dream was to real to the point where i only noticed that it was a lucid dream after 30 min of waking up

Ay! Keep trying! An when you know your in a lucid dream, rub your hands together, or spin around in circles! I never did have a lucid dream yet, I just tried last night! But I will keep trying! And, when I do lucid dream. I will do the rub my hands together or spin around thing.

@@lucidreclamation1323 hey, there this is future me 1 year later :D I can't exactly call myself an expert but I have lucid dreams at least twice a week now and yes I did fly and I air bended made earthquakes controlled fire and water and had a LOT of sex (the majority of us do at the start though) summoned my dead family members summoned celebs and a lot more it's truly fascinating you'll love it.

@@Astrothenix I mostly repeat "I will have a lucid dream tonight" to myself every night, keep checking my hands throughout the day to make sure and when I have time I wake up in the night then close my eyes and stop moving until I find myself in a dream witch works 9 out of 10 times a really good method but I just do it when I know i'll be free in the morning the day after.

I’m still learning to lucid dream but the technique I’m practicing is kinda a combination of mild and wbtb basically here’s what I do I set an alarm for 2 AM (because I go to bed at 11 so it’s 3 hours after I fall asleep) then go to bed and when I wake up at 2 I go back to sleep but repeat the phrases I’m in a dream and I will lucid dream in my head until I fall back asleep

idk about best but easiest lucid dreaming method is intention. basically wanting to lucid dream and wanting it so hard it becomes reality. here’s how i do it: i go to bed 1-2 hours before i usually do. i go to bed because i want to lucid dream. so i go out of my way and out of my routine to lucid dream. by doing so (going to bed earlier bc i want to lucid dream) i am setting the intention that i want to lucid dream and it happens

I had a long night and I was on my phone and it was like 1 in the morning. Black and white lines went up and down and a picture started to happen in the background. But I was still fully awake and I was still on my phone I don't know if it was a hallucination or I was going into a lucid dream from being fully conscious. Thoughts.

Hey, ELD, I just have a quick question because it happened to me last night. So, while dreaming I performed both the finger through the hand reality check and the finger counting check, but somehow I managed to convince myself it was normal even though I consciously reality checked. Any reasons as to why reality checks fail? That would actually be a good video for the future

I'm a beginner and i didn't get a lucid dream yet and i have 2 questions. 1. When should i become a lucid dream with the mild technique? I tried it now 4 times. 2. My dream journal is full of weired dreams xD for example once I were spongebob and my sister wanted her thumb on a different place on her hand and then she got weird ''spiky'' hands lol.. Why do I dream such crazy stuff?

H I You are gonna have to try it more than 4 times and it’ll be hit or miss if your not pairing it with WBTB, but my first LD was using MILD by itself so just be patient and try the WBTB with if u can

I just realized, I've been using the WILD technique for a very long time when I was little and they always worked. In fact just a few weeks ago, I used it and got an extremely lucid dream. Also, can I combine the SSILD and WILD techniques?

Lucid dream technique: take a little rope of any color and wrap it around your wrist. Set an alarm every hour of the day and look at the rope in your hand and just notice that you are awake. When you are sleep dreaming you will still look at your hand just because your brain got used to it throughout the day, however you won't be able to see the little rope, then you know that you are dreaming and can take control of your dreams.

Too much effort my technique is that I just say at night in my mind that I want lucid dream then I either get or not. But when you get lucid dream that does not mean you can control anything and that is not good idea cause it will make you probably wake up.

@@lizz7857 did u use fild or did u just wake up in the dream? I just sleep Everytime I try to do fild, but one time it felt like my body was vibrating, but I did not see any shapes or colors. I got scared because i thought it was sleep paralys kicking in, but I doubt it.

I had a dream about thinking I am lucid dreaming. Yeah, in that dream, I thought I am lucid dreaming. I tried to control anything with my mind but I only feel a tingling sensation around my body whenever I do it in my dream. Maybe because I recited the phrase in my head "The next time I dream, I will know that I am dreaming". Yeah it did happen but not lucid.

I got lucid! Last night I Woke Back to Bed and decided I would try WILD (I had tried it the day before but failed). I put on a meditation induction video on KZbin, relaxed and tried my best to remain still. After what seemed forever, I felt my leg twitch, and finally got to see the hypnagogic images. It was a sphere of green light swirling on and off, and after a while everything turned blue... and then I couldn't help but open my eyes a bit and I think I blew it. So yeah, I realized I had blown it and decided to call it off, so I swallowed saliva, stretched my body and so on. But still I wanted to keep on, and when I was about to fall asleep, I attempted FILD, moving my fingers a bit. I kind of felt about to have a sleep parallysis, but that was the weirdest part. I don't know if I really had one, if my FILD attempt worked, or if I just fell asleep normally and became lucid because of WBTB and all the wishful thinking and concentration due to preparation to WILD. All I know is that I was in the dream and soon I realized I was dreaming. Actually I have gotten lucid a bunch of times 6 years ago, and then again 3 years ago, in moments when I was more addicted to lucid dreaming. Today was my third night of trying to come back into practising it, and it was a total success, I guess. Thanks! (P.S.: but I kind of had sex in the dream and it didn't last for that long.)

ILoveMinecraf t yes you do for it to work effectively, however, you really don’t want to just randomly wake up in the middle of the night. The best time to do any lucid dreaming technique is when you wake up during REM (which usually occurs in about 90 minute intervals but can vary depending on the person and a lot of outside factors such as how well you sleep, if you have a regular sleep cycle, location, etc). Your REM (which stands for Rapid Eye Movement and is the stage of sleep where your entire body is paralyzed except for your eyes to make sure you don’t act out your dreams) stages also increase in length as the night goes on with the fist one lasting about 10-15 minutes and the last one lasting about 30-60 minutes. You want to wake up about 6 hours after you fall asleep to try and hit the longest REM stage of the night to give you the best chance for lucid dreaming (if you have trouble staying asleep for that long then try the next REM cycle right before that and wake up about 4.5 hours after you fall asleep or even 3 if you have too). If you wake up straight from a dream that got interpreted, that’s a very good sign you are in REM. If you don’t know when your REM stage is there are some good apps that track your sleep and can give you an idea. If you are still having trouble getting into REM you can also experiment a little by adding or taking away 10 minutes to your alarm to see if you really take only 80 minutes roughly to get into REM or 100. For me, my REM stages are around 2:30 am, 4 am, 5:30 am, 7 am, and 8:30 am. However, it helps to have a good consistent sleep cycle (that means going to bed and waking up at the same time). REM stuff is basic lucid dreaming knowledge needed for almost every technique so its good to know if you want to get into it. If you have any questions I might be able to answer lol.

I haven't had a lucid dream yet but a few months ago I was going into one and it felt like I was traveling to another universe, I felt myself getting pulled into a lucid dream but I got scared of sleep paralysis because I was scared of it back then (I don't really care now) so I was saying to myself WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP and that is my biggest regret ever.. Now I'm trying so hard to get my first lucid dream when I basically had one..
