Too many comments on a year-old video for this one to be seen by many; however, here is my cautionary advice about lucid dreaming: Take care of your health so that having lucid dreams is simple and easy. What I say is completely based on personal experience, and here is the short version. When I was young, high school and younger, I could lucid dream at will. It was easy. I could also tell myself to wake up at a certain time in the night and I would. These skills never failed me until I began to abuse my nature sleep cycle. University, the military, pets, children, any bump in the night, the logistics business -- I loved them all except for the logistics company, and they all helped me to wreck my health and lose those cool abilities. I'm sure the eating habits that come with being up when you should be asleep also contributed. As I recover from all that, I find I am on the cusp of being able to lucid dream again.

Bro, thank you so much! 🎉😆 I had a nightmare last night and I wanted to wake up, but then I thought about you. Holy Macaroni ! This worked for me the very first time I tried it this afternoon and the results were wonderful. Thank you so much. It was a big help that I had my first experiences with lucid dreaming just 2 weeks ago and so had a dream to bring vividly to mind. I set my notebook on my bed (no nightstand), set my intention to wake up my consciousness when dreaming was going on and thought of my most vidid lucid dream and when I thought of the moment when I realized iI was a dream and happening in my head. While Reliving that moment I took my afternon nap ( I'm 83) and with a smile, went to sleep. Then the intention kicked in about 40 minutes later and I began watching myself do some amazing stuff, glowing, flying apart, coming together, drifting through the sky, all in peace and relaxation. Then the original stimulus/dream began again (there was a lady involved) and it took off from there getting better and better, drifting through others like a mist, etc. and all the while I knew it was a dream. I might have even nudged it to go here and there with the thought "this is nice. let's go over there". And 'dreamlike', it went there. 😃 Thanks again.

I like this method. I was off the lucid dreaming train for a few years but started having them again about 9 months ago after discussing dreams frequently with a friend and starting my dream journal again. The reason I like your method? Because, I realized a while back that, yes, it's often when something totally out of the ordinary seems to occur in the dream, that's when I get triggered. The dream might not make sense in 'real life' terms, but usually there's some level of internal consistency in a dream. If that consistency breaks down and you can catch it; that can alert you to the dream. A few recent triggers for me have been when I'm leaving a building, I realize I've forgotten to take something with me and, going back to pick the thing up, I suddenly realize that the building has disappeared or I am completely lost and can't find my way back; or if I am in a place and wonder how I got there, but have no clue how I traveled to that place; that kind of confusion has alerted me to dreams.

I lost my grandma a couple of years back. It came sudden and unexpected. I loved her very much and she played a big role in my live. I had a really hard time for months because it felt so unreal and I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. But one day I was having an unintentional lucid dream: I was sitting down with my grandma, we just talked and I got the chance to tell her everything from the bottom of my heart and she answered me just the way she used to. I knew I was dreaming but at the same time it felt as real as it gets. When I woke up I told my girlfriend all about it. Unfortunately I didn’t write it down at the time and I don’t remember the exact conversation. But this dream saved me from my depressive state. I hold it‘s memory very dear and it still fills my heart with warmth and love whenever I think of it.

I was watching your videos so much, every morning, night, and you left for a looooong time. then I went back and finally saw you upload more content. i'm so happy you started uploading content again! because of your videos, I had 6 lucid dreams (the fifth one was mixed nightmare and a dream) and your content made me have my dream of eating a new chocolate again (kinder bueno milk) in my lucid dream. I had so much adrenaline bursting I almost woke up! but then I saw your content again, I quit lucid dreaming and now get regular dreams, but since you are uploading more content soon (like this) I will stop sleeping at morning from today. I still have alot of dream recalls, I already remember my 6 lucid dreams and I can imagine it again, maybe i will have a good dream recall and restart lucid dreaming. I got a new book for me to write my dreams in, it's small though, but I will write these dreams until I actually start to lucid dream again because it gives me ideas to do in real life and it makes me happy when i wake up from it. Since I finished my long 10 months of school, I have a vacation and I will sleep early to lucid dream again and continue writing down my dreams until I lucid dream again, since I saw this video, this will motivate me to lucid dreaming again! Thanks for reminding me this so I can sleep early, write down my dreams in my new Dream Journal, then I will start to enjoy again, finally after one year of practicing over and over and watching a lot of videos from you, I lucid dreamed! So you are MOTIVATING me into lucid dreaming. Thanks. Now I know how to lucid dream well! Thanks, I missed you, Thanks so much, It really means to me, Thank you so much for teach us how to lucid dream, you are an absolute LEGEND! Thanks so much. But, my ADHD can't really focus on dreams and sleep, but you told us to meditate and I searched up how to stop ADHD, I will meditate everyday and loop everything, Dream Journaling, Dream Recall, MILD Technique, Meditation, Sleeping Early. Now I will loop these things all day until I finally lucid dream again! Then maybe I will stop? Maybe not? Let's see. Thanks so much legend.

I have a story for you: I was in a dream, without knowing it was a dream. But at one point I heard my mother, and I knew she shouldn't be there. It was at that moment that I understood that I was in a dream, therefore that I was having a lucid dream. For 2 to 3 minutes nothing incredible happened. But at one point I remembered how to make someone appear (thanks to one of your videos). So I tried to bring up Michael Jackson. But I did not succeed. Because instead it's Macgyver, the one from the most recent series. This is where the best happens. I was so excited that I opened my eyes. But, I woke up in another dream, not lucid this time. It was my story.

Thanks! I started yesterday and instantly had a lucid dream.although it doesn’t work as others does.I can somewhat control it but my brain makes something complex even though I expected something casual and easy.I think my brain makes the dream as something that I really want to do in real life without me properly thinking and reciting it.

Ayo you came back, and thanks for the helpful video! Also, yeah keeping a dream journal is a crucial step. When I returned to practicing lucid dreaming and dream recall back in July, I bought a dream journal and decorated it. Anyways, I would get 5-6 dreams per night. 7-8 if lucky. I would also get lucid sometimes. Throughout July and the start of August, I've had 11 lucid dreams in total. While practicing, I've re-watch your videos, and it helped me, so thank you! ✨️

Can you please tell me in a simplified manner how to lucid dream please? I want to get lucids also it seems very fun
@aariana1205 Жыл бұрын
@meghajain7892 ok. Well, first, do you keep a dream journal? I'm asking cuz it is a very crucial step and will help you in the future. Every morning when you wake up, write down your dreams. You may not remember most at first, but if you keep doing dream recall, you can remember a lot of dreams. Ok, so when writing, write it all down. If you can't remember, write down any thoughts or feelings. Ok, so why is dream journaling important? So once you have a couple of dreams, go through them and see if there are any dream signs. If there is, it can be a useful tool to become lucid. Ex: My dream signs were words, so I became lucid when they popped up and did reality checks. Next step: reality checks. When something seems off, count your fingers or pinch your nose. Make it a habit so that habit can be carried in the dream world. In dreams, you can breathe while pinching your nose, or you may have an extra finger. Also, have a mantra like "I'll lucid dream tonight" or "I'll remember my dreams". Also, if you wake up in the middle of the night, that's the perfect time to try lucid dreaming. After or less than 30 mins of waking, just lie down in bed, don't get excited, or you'll never sleep, do your mantra, and go to bed. There are a lot of techniques to lucid dream, like WILD OR MILD, etc. Lucid dreaming comes with trials and error, so don't give up, and good luck!

Thanks for the video, i will put this on practice. Also, you mentioned that wake up in the middle of the night isn't bad for your health, well... you're kind of right, that doesn't affect your healt, what does affect is viewing any source of light in the middle of the night (yeah, including your cellphone) that's definitely gonna disrupt the circadian cycle and affect your recovery and the secretion of melatonin. Again, good video and very useful ❤

@@brushwanderer_1 Indeed. It is definitely minimal. Only a few minor things that I personally disagree with, and they're pretty small. i don't think i've ever had a lucid dream, but again there was this one extraordinarily vivid dream that i felt i had control over when i was younger, around 9-11 or so i was in my normal house with my mum inside and the others somewhere, when i walked outside with this gorgeous red-headed woman (she was my aunt in the dream, i really looked up to her. she just had the best vibes ever, she was funny, friendly, kind, brave) with blue eyes and pale skin. we were in the backyard under the roof standing on the patio, when we glanced up and this HUGE, majestic shadow shot past. my 'aunt' looked at me with awestruck eyes and the biggest smile ever, same for me to her, and she goes 'that was a DRAGON!' i've always had a fascination with dragons lol it's stupid but i have an intention to enter a lucid dream WITH certain dragons in a story i've strung together and have grown very attached to:D

Omg i’ve practiced doing this technique for about a week now last night was so cool. It was literally the best thing I’ve ever experienced. I did so many things I’ve wanted to experience for so long now this is so cool once you learn it I can’t believe it actually worked, I was gonna quit a couple days ago because it wasn’t working but a few nights ago I realize I was dreaming but woke up after so I realized it was possible. I did so much last night and it was incredibly fun doing this so much stick to it and it will eventually come. I was in the dream for about two hours I’m pretty sure that I did about three or four things that I’ve already wanted to do for a long time like how to fly for example I can definitely say that is very cool. I hope it happens again tonight and also if you eventually get this ability, it’ll get better you’ll be able to stay in the dream for longer without waking up and realize you’re in the dream sooner. I definitely recommend this. It is extremely cool. Will be doing every single night.

Hi, last night I had a crazy experience (for me) while trying to LD. I’ll tell you: I was my 2nd day trying to lucid dream, so I tried a new technique. I think it’s called MILD, and what I did was repeating “today I will have a lucid dream” for over an hour.This was the only thing I thought. Later, now trying to sleep, I imagined me in previous dream realizing it is a dream and doing cool things. I slept normally. But here it goes the cool part. I didn’t have an alarm, but I randomly woke up at around 3:00AM (this was like 5 hours after sleeping). Then I thought I was very lucky and I also tried to do either the Wake Back To Bed method or the SSILD method (I don’t know what it was). What I did was to stay 5 minutes out of bed and then focus on seeing, hearing and feeling (and repeating in cycles). I don’t know why, but I got more stressed, because my heart beats were super fast and also I couldn’t control my breathing. I wanted to go slow, but it was automatic and I breathed fast. Then (I don’t know how much time passed), my started slowly to get more and more tired and moving was 10x times more difficult. But my brain was completely conscious. I didn’t opened my eyes until I woke up (2 and a half hours later) because I didn’t want to have sleep paralysis. It seemed so strange. I wasn’t in a dream, it was all dark. Then, I started to get very hot until the time I was almost burning. I tried to remove my blanket but I almost couldn’t move. Until I felt like the blanket was slowly removing. It was…floating? I don’t know because I kept my eyes closed, but surely it was only a feeling. I didn’t try to focus on a dream, because when I do that, I start to get high heart beats and fast breathing. But later, I tried to focus on dreaming the most. And I was completely focused, but just when I started seeing something, I heard a strange loud scary noise that made me loose my focus. The noise was a mix of being electrocuted and turning a heavy old machine on (i think I explained it well). After that I had random thoughts until I woke up. I didn’t have any dream because I remember my thoughts during the night and I didn’t remember any dream. Also if I had a dream it would become lucid because I was conscious. To summarize, when I tried to Lucid dream I had very fast heart beats and fast breathing (that I couldn’t control). But, was it normal? Was it safe? I was awake or sleep? Could you guys gime me any advice on how to not to happen that again? Thank you so much! P.S: I in fact opened my eyes, but only one and for less than a second. I saw all white, what happened?
@MKequilibrium11 ай бұрын
There is a very thin "barrier" between LD and OOBE so that loud noise could be starting up to have OOBE. Many ppl are afraid of that. Study Monroe institute and his techniques.
